Alcohol restrictions
Should you be unaware, due to the Thailand General Election on Sunday, 8 February 2026. There will be a nationwide ban on the sale and distribution of alcohol from 6pm on the 7th to 6pm on the 8th of February.
During this time:
Public consumption of alcohol is prohibited, including at social gatherings
The restrictions apply to convenience stores, bars, restaurants, and entertainment venues, both public and private

Mrs tam got her bung from the usual party. This time she got the whole purple fun ticket whereas in previous elections, it's been one or two hundred baht less as the thieving in-betweens take their "loyalty" cuts.
