National Debt at 38 Trillion / Deficit 1.8 Trillion for 2025.
* Find it strange that I never really questioned previous govt reports on Debt and Deficit, and now I find myself doing so. The strange feeling comes from the Deficit being only 1.8Trilllion!!!

Odd of a 2026 Recession at 33%.

2026 will be interesting with the BBB tax scheme. My Predictions:
- National Debt will hit 44 Trillion by the end of 2026.
- 2026 Deficit will be over 4 Trillion.
- Unemployment Rate will be over 6%.

Adding this to my phone/computer calendar to remind me on Dec 23, 2026 to see how things panned out.
I personally don't think it will reach those numbers no matter what happens. I do believe a lot of what happens will depend on how the Supreme Court rules on the tariff issue. I do agree that the numbers now and in the future coming out of the BLS are/will be somewhat questionable. But the real kicker will come when Powell leaves the Federal Reserve and the POTUS's head lackey gets in there and tries to get interest rates down to 1%, that's when the real fun will begin.
Yea, I went a bit on the upper range on my predictions.

However, can you do a calendar note on your phone to back-up my prediction and we'll compare notes 12 months from now.

+1 on Powell departing.....totally agree.

Now that he's talking about taking land back from Venezuela that belongs to the U.S., WTF!! LOL, the POTUS is renewing his call about taking control of Greenland and making it a part of the United States, naming Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry head of an envoy to go to Greenland. Hopefully this worm will get the same treatment the V.P. received when he went to Greenland a few months back.

"We're calling it the Golden Fleet that we're building for the United States Navy. As you know, we're desperately in need of ships. Our ships, some of them have gotten old and tired and obsolete," Trump said."

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/tr ... ngNewsSerp

Assume they will be nuclear powered with an estimated cost of around 5-8 Billion per ship with 8-10 being built (yea, if this even passes Congress (though, Congress passes anything Trump floats). 1-2 Trillion to operate them (8-10 ships) per year.

Willing to bet Huntington Ingalls Industries and General Dynamics stocks got a bump, but no one in Trump's circle or Congress bought the stock last week (just kidding).

Logically, a battleship is just a waste of money........they are easy to track and easy to sink (people say otherwise, but IMHO they are) and there are already ships being built / in inventory that are loaded out and capable of using America's most modern shipboard weaponry.

Is this another....Trump, Pump and Dump schemes ..... Quid pro quo (political donations).....Ego Trip at the expense of small investors / taxpayers??

Ok, guess it's only 2 battleships...............still a waste of taxpayers dollars.

Coin flip on nuclear powered or gas-turbine propulsion system.

Even after DOGE "drained the swamp", even after collecting $195 billion due to tariffs, even after withholding monies and cutting programs already approved by Congress, there was only a $41 billion difference in the federal budget deficit between FY2024 and FY2025. You would have figured there would have been a greater savings with all the cuts and taxes. Why wasn't there a greater savings?

I have a few ideas.

How about the head of the FBI purchasing a new fleet of BMW's to replace the Chevy Suburbans, so much for buy American. How about his use of the FBI jet to visit his girlfriend, amongst other ventures. and providing his girlfriend with SWAT protection at taxpayers expense?

It could also be going to the POTUS's frequent trips to his own private company properties, costing millions of $ of taxpayer monies each trip. It could be him wasting money by illegaly having his name put on a federal building, a living memorial. It could be his strikes on "alleged" drug boats coming out of Venezuela being used to disguise his true motive, taking land from Venezuela that he claims belongs to the United States.

It could also be because of silly ass expenditures, like sending a special envoy to Greenland to convince Greenlanders to bend to the will of the United States of America.

There's no telling where "all" this saved money is going, but it seems that none of it has helped the every day people in the United States.

It doesn't matter how much this administration cuts or brings in through tariffs, there will be no great savings, if any at all, it will be spent by someone somewhere. No different than any other administration, except for the fired federal employees, the tariffs that create an extra tax layer, the withholding of federal funds to liberal states, and some conservative, the dissolution of FEMA, and soon to come in 2026, people having to choose between health care premiums and food/shelter.

And now that Trump's attempt to cripple the biilding of wind farms was thrown out by the courts, he now says they are a securuty issue due to interference with early warning radars. Strange that has come up. On the eastern seaboard they have thousands of miles of Atlantic ocean in which incoming planes can be detected. If really a potential issue why not just build a radar station on the eastern edge of a windfarm?

So where do you go when trying to make an agreement to end a war? The White House? Nope. Camp David? Absolutely not. Mar-a-Lago? Bingo! Yes, have a foreign leader whose country is in the middle of a war come to your own exclusive private resort to work on an agreement. So sad.

"The classic Florida winter’s getting a major reality check as record numbers of Canadian snowbirds are listing their homes and heading back north for good.

With more than half of these owners ready to sell, they’re finding out the hard way that buyers just aren’t showing up to pick up the slack. And for good reason.

This is what happens when you look a gift horse in the mouth. Snowbirds were a blessing to these communities, and they've chased them all away."

Good and bad news for the long awaited "Made in America" T1 Mobile, which will not be allowed to bear the Made in America logo, from Trump Mobile. The phone was to be launched in August 2025, but due to the government shutdown it has been delayed indefinitely. That's the bad news. The good news is that you can pick up refurbished iPhones and Samsungs from their website, it will only cost you $100+ over what you can get one on eBay or any other retailer, but hey, isn't it worth it to pay premium+ to purchase something from a billionaire?

First, they had to take off the disclaimer that this product was made in America, even though that was supposed to be the main selling point. Second, they claim the launch date of August 2025 was delayed due to the government shutdown, but that didn't occur until October 2025. Third, they are selling refurbished mobile phones on their website for a minimum $100 more than what you would pay someplace else.

Unfortunately there will still be people falling for this grift.
