It saddens me to inform the teaders of this Forum of the passing of David Cummings last night (28/11/2025.DAVID AKA
Big Dave had been serously for some time. Our condolences go out to his widow Toi who informed me of her loss. No news yet of any Funeral attangements. Sorry to be the bearer of such sad news. RIP Big Fella

A wonderful man with a big heart, truly a nice man that will sadly missed. A few months short of 85.
He battled hard these last few years

First met Dave in 1996 in Pattaya where he was on holiday and waiting for early retirement from British Steel in Sheffield.
When he retired and moved to Pattaya before coming to Udon always met him in the Cowboy bar on an evening in Pattaya after I finished work in Map Ta Phut.
He used to drink Mekong and soda and used to say where can you get anything like that in The UK at 5 baht a shot.
Never saw him get angry with anyone and always happy.
Great friend for all the years and also his lovely wife Toi.
