Nightstands

Post by tamada »

While we're at it, new nightstands to replace the tired ones from Index.

Looking online, it seems that 40 x 40 x 40 cm is the standard size, same as we have now, which I always found too small. Any bigger ones about?

You could try Major Furniture on the Nong Khai Road. They have a lot of displays to see in the flesh.

Also, further up the road, maybe a few kilometres, you’ll come the first set of traffic lights. U Turn there & there’s a huge, new furniture building. I can’t remember the name but you can’t miss it

a vendor sells furniture in the Big C parking lot. Cheaper wood but several versions of night stands some taller/larger some the 40X40 you mentioned. Heading out of Big C towards town, immediately on your left is a furniture store, older style wood dressers, bureaus, night stands.. Going towards town to the stop light by the Talad Muang Tong, do a U-Turn and head back towards the overpass intersection (don't go on the overpass) On the Left past the Yamaha dealer is another store selling a variety of wooden furniture.. Home Pro used to have a very high end vendor in one of the booths in the hallway selling beautiful hardwood furniture. We bought a large clothing armoire. Expensive but very very nice. Unfortunately, I don't think they are there anymore but perhaps HomePro can provide contact info.

On the Ring Road heading towards Route 2, pass Thai Watsadu and take the next U-Turn. At the U-Turn in another store selling a variety of wooden furniture.. We bought a dining room table and chairs there some years ago.

I think this has closed since the opening of the new building next door.

As is usual with the lazada app, after a few days their search algorithms find more of exactly what you're looking for. Two larger night stands should be delivered today and they colour match the new headboard and box frame.
