Steel floor installation

Hi All

Does anyone out there know a place in Udon that can fit out a stainless / galvanized steel checker plate floor in the back of a Toyota panel van ? .... our go to guy is unavailable until December and need it doing ASAP.

Goes without saying looking for a good high standard or workmanship.

You can check with Doc at Quickfire BBQ. If he has time, they can do anything with stainless steel and workmanship is top shelf.

Docs stainless guy is also my go to guy and his work is the best ive ever seen , but he cannot fit my job in until December.

I was contacted by an UM Member (Timmy Toes) an hour ago with a recco for a place on the NK road so will give that a try

Have you considered painted steel deck plate? That would save you a lot of money and likely would be easier to source.

leaving material options open until find a place who does this kind of installation ,, stainless galvanized or as you suggest a painted or coated finish but that would have to be a specialist treatment so it would not stratch ,wear or rub off after a period of time.

Quick update .

Found coupla places in Udon for the van floor job .. one recommended using 3mm aluminum (Aloominum for any Americans reading) due to not rusting and it being lighter so ordered 2 x 1200 x 2400 sheets should arrive tomorrow.

will inform how things go.
