Well Trump has a new position on the Russia-Ukraine war, now stating that it’s not his problem.

Trump also stated that he hopes the war will end soon so he and Putin can start making some trade deals.

It took less than 30 years after the Cold War ended for the U.S. to nominate a POTUS who put Russia as their most important ally and friend.

Meanwhile the Trump has declared war on its own citizens. Calling out the National Guard which is a State Government responsibility and massively overstating the situation on the ground while the State Governor has stated they are not required or wanted.
On top the Orange One has now stated that 700 USMC regular soldiers are now on the way to help put down this insurrection.
Wonder how long it will be until he calls on his Proud Boys to really get rid of these hated Hispanics.

Was watching some vlogs on YouTube on the ground in LA. Some of it looked pretty wild and lots of people engaging with the police. Lots throwing rocks at police officers and cars.

Of course many more peacefully protesting but was certainly a sizeable group looking to cause damage.

Granted that there are some taking it to unacceptable levels, but given that the LAPD are quite a large and capable outfit does it really justify The Orange One calling out the National Guard and sending Regular USMC forces in as well.
These ICE guys dont seem to be targeting the vile gangsters and Fentanyl dealers as the Trump claimed was the prime target but simple people working for low wages in shops, cafes etc. Maybe the criminals are too scary for the ICE agents to tackle.

I am not talking Politics or who is in charge of the Country, but when individuals throw objects at Police or crash motorbikes into them, it is no longer peaceful minor street protests in my view.

In the case of the Australian, she was being filmed by the cameraman, and in the background you can see a policeman casually take aim and shoot at her. So far only plastic bullets, but the British reporter needed surgery, Is the IDF providing training to the LA police? What will the rules of engagement be for the marines Trump is sending?

USA needs a Federal Law, (if that don't have one already) against Looting, then it goes before a Federal Judge and comes with a mandatory minimum jail term of 6 Years, whether you loot one T Shirt or one pair of Seekers or a whole car load, just for the looting crime.

If one then assaults a Policeman in the process of looting add another six years and lock them up for 12 years.

I say "build more jails", off shore on some remote Island or better still a build more Vernon C's

I can understand why some business outlets may consider be leaving or moving out of certain cities and certain specific locations within, given the risk of maintaining a business outlet in some areas, just gets higher and higher and financially nonviable.

I watched that incident a few times. Looked to me that the girl was trying to evade the cops until a cop clubbed her of the bike and then it obviously crashed.
Suppose it depends on if you think the Proud Boys are innocent or not on how you view televised evidence.

I agree, unless it is on Jan 6th in which case you can assault police and be labeled a victim because that is a special circumstance whereby Trump definitely won't to call up the military to restore order.

Something that these A hole protestors (those who have nothing to do with the protest Cause and just attend to disrupt any event and the looters who have absolutely no respect for other people businesses take for granted. It doesn't happen where I am or where I have worked for a number of years, because these A Hole / Looters know the consequences would be very, very serious for them.

So let the police handle it, no? The LAPD weren't calling for reinforcements, the city didn't see any insurrection (despite Stephen Miller publicly calling it that) and the state hadn't called any state of emergency.

Sending in the National Guard and the USMC is like pissing on an ants nest.

Or putting out a fire with gasoline.

But, by his henchman publicly calling it an insurrection and Trump himself saying that he will do the same for any similar public displays of disaffection with his policies in any other state in the union, maybe it's all a means to an end?
