Krispy Kreme Doughnuts

Post by Laan Yaa Mo »

I know you can get these doughnuts in Bangkok and Korat (Terminal) but does anyone know if you can get them in Khon Kaen, Kalasin or Udon? My favourite doughnut flavour is peanut butter. I never found them sold in Canada, eh.

This shop used to sell KK. I have bought KK there before, but have not been in over a year.
Gominta is the name of the shop. It's a confectionery.

Thanks for the information, it is much appreciated. I'll have to try going to the airport in Khon Kaen. The small shop in Central sells glazed Krispy doughnuts occasionally, but I'm looking for the peanut butter flavour. I'd like to try a strawberry one too.

There was a Krispy Kreme stand (tables) at the bottom of the main travelator at Big C Nittayo on Thursday last week. Bought a box of glazed ones as a treat for the squatters back home, but left them on the back seat as it was raining when I got home. Completely forgot about them for a couple of days but they got gobbled up eventually.

Way, way overpriced IMHO.

Not a big donut buyer as too many calories for me, but there is a KK cabinet in my local 'Race Track' Gas station. Cost is almost $3 each or 6 for $12.99 and then tax!

The US is bloody expensive in my limited experience. Sorry I've gone off topic!

Same place again yesterday, so this may be their permanent location (for now).

Maybe they've seen the huge queues that form when a branch opens somewhere on the planet and think they're on a winner? Like all the coffee shops that sprung up after Starbucks opened? Not sure if it's a market test or someone with more money than sense buying a truckload from the nearest outlet and setting up shop here.

As Mrs tam suggested, paeng and mai-arroi.
