Tim Hortons, which hails all the way from Canada, is opening it’s very first outlet in Thailand right here at Samyan Mitrtown in Bangkok.

My beer distributer friend in Las Vegas when I was in my late teens, early 20's had a saying about Moosehead:

"Moosehead is better than no head"

I preferred Labatt's 50 or even Molson Canadian back then alas the former is now owned by Anheuser-Busch and the latter was bought by Coors. Moosehead on the other hand is still family owned by Canadians.

I'm due to visit the UK later this year, so I'll definitely pay the Maple Leaf pub in London a visit for a draft pint. :D

So where are the doughnuts, eh?

They are selling many overpriced items that I have never seen sold at Tim's. The price is close to $10 Canadian for a can of soup? What's up with that, eh?

And a can of Tim's hot chocolate for over $37...wow. It seems that the Thai Government tariff on imports from the Great White North is sky high.

Thanks for the heads up, Khun Doodoo, but I'll stick to Krispy Kreem for the doughnuts and Lindt's for the hot chocolate, eh.
