Quiet local beer shops?

...with a toilet, and ideally free WiFi?

Away from main roads, with fresh air, and good for friendly chats - with both friends & passing falang strangers.

Anywhere between Big C and Wat Pho.

Afternoon times for a couple (or three!) of cold slow ones, and sometimes a bit of Thai sun-made pork jerky.

Col's Car Wash, Grill, Library and Nineteenth Hole, right by the airport.

Fridays are best, Wednesday is another good day but Col is not there most Mondays and Tuesdays as he tends his self storage business on the other side of town those days.

Its a friggin' carwash with tables and chairs, fans and music for the Friday Udon Thani Flat Earth Society meetings, golfer 19th hole and general day-drinking. Wednesday's and Fridays are best days to run into friends.
