Funny, back in late 1950's and early 1960's we never felt "Fat Shamed" when ask our approximate weight at airline counter. Maybe we understood reason a lot better then and were not so sensitive.

Just have to wait and see what Finnair describes in the policy. Height, weight, BMI ratios are, etc etc. There is more than one airline.

We were weighed at checkin along with all baggage when flying into the jungles of PNG.
Never felt fat shamed because there were a lot of chunky types flying.
And usually, a chunky type doing the check in, so no gasping and giggles when the scales hit a high note.

I don't see where anyone is going to be denied boarding because they are too fat (but maybe they should), it's just optimizing the aircrafts weight distribution. Worst case, passengers with additional girth may find their seat allocation changed at the boarding gate because part of the palletized freight cargo is singularly heavy.

Maybe he should fly with "FATAIR" plenty of room in their A380's.
He's got his little y-fronts and he's got his little vest, Chaz Jankel, 1998. Mash it up Harry.
