Looks like their flight timings aren't too different from Thai Airways morning and evening flights? Still a lack of mid-day services but the upside is a couple more flights. That can be handy around the big holidays and Buddha days when I've seen Thai's three daily flights booked solid and I've needed to depart from Khon Kaen to make an international connection.
