Over the past three weeks, we have visited some of the beaches at both Sattahip and Pattaya. I much prefer the sandy beaches at Sattahip to the ones at Pattaya which had more stones in the water and on the beach.

Toei Ngam Beach, which is private to active and retired personnel in the Royal Thai Navy and Royal Thai Marines, was really impressive. It had sandbars that stretched out a long way and reminded me of Wasaga and Beaverton Beaches in Ontario.

Another wonderful place was Nang Ram Beach Nang Rong in Sattahip.

This is not to say that I didn't like Jomtien and Wong Amat in Pattaya. They were fun too, but we enjoyed the Sattahip beaches more.

I tried to put a few photos in an attachment; however, they seem to be too large for inclusion here.

You only pass through this life once, you don't come back for an encore.
