Yes, my mobile banking app works great. As stated previously, I’m just hoping it works without needing to have a short code sent for verification when I get over there.

Sorry for necroing, but this might be helpful for others.
I suggest trying to use a different number. Use AnonymSMS, a free service that has a lot of numbers based on real SIMs. So you could try until one works.
