Good on you for actually reading through some source. Apparently they're cleaning up their backlog, which actually does look like a problematic number. No doubt you saw that too. But my intentions wasn't to start a debate about the whats and whys of missing kids in the US. The point was, don't just read 500,000 kids reported missing every year and think oh golly, what a poo-show the US is. Sure glad I don't live there!
