Whos guessing anything?

Its not a Man U player, If its a city player it can only be one, otherwise its someone who plays in Prem League that was in Manchester on Friday so unlikely to be players from most teams who were training at their clubs training grounds, so possibly an ex Man U/city player who has yet to relocate from Manchester or someone who was playing in Euros or injured and was excused training to rest (preferably not with children)

elementary my dear watson, now if youll excuse me I have an appointment at 25 past the hour and feel the need for a pipeful of tobacco first

You know the joke thread is over there don’t you 👉

Besides the fact the name of the player & his club is all over the internet (just not the BBC), there’s a lot of people live in Greater Manchester Police jurisdiction other than Man U & Man C players. Some even play for other premiership teams.
Your powers of deduction were & are fundamentally flawed Holmes.

Besides, frankly I’m still surprised you didn’t open with Boris once kicked a football & if Brexit hadn’t happened it would have been the Bundespolizei (North West England division) making the arrest
Age & treachery will always triumph over youth & ability

Lets put it this way Everton have 2 x 31 year olds, one of whom has been suspended by the club, and one played at Finch Farm v Blackburn in the pre season friendly on Saturday

Everton first-half: Virginia, Kenny, Holgate, Keane, John, Iwobi, Gbamin, Gomes, Gordon, Rodriguez, Kean.

Everton second-half: Tyrer, Kenny, Gibson, Godfrey, Coleman, Baningime, Allan, Doucoure, Davies, Delph, Whitaker (Broadhead, 83).

I don't follow this topic much, as it all goes too daft to my liking.

But Andros Townsend has signed for Everton, if that answers a question.

Turned 30 on the day of the arrest, how coincidental is that

Do people really watch kickball? I can't see the draw, except for the hysterical flop 3 or 4 times a game. That's the only redeeming value.

'Everton given go-ahead by government in March to build new 52,888-capacity stadium at Bramley Moore Dock in Liverpool; the project has been cited by UNESCO's World Heritage Committee as contributing to Liverpool's "irreversible loss of attributes"'

Pretty obvious that none of the members of this committee live in or have ever visited Liverpool.

"The decision was made following a vote by members of UNESCO's World Heritage Committee in China."

Oh! The irony.

Not sure if its just because International football is soooo boring or the fact that the pre season games are more entertaining, but I watched Leicester at QPR yesterday and Arsenal v Chelsea today and enjoyed both games

Just watched West Ham vs Atalanta ......... not too bad a game but skill levels seemed to drop off a cliff after the subs at around 60 mins. WH scored in the last min of each half to win 2 - 0

Spectator misbehaviour, English humour and English tribalism also hold some interest for me.

The English and football is easy to work out .. its part of the history, you are born into it and being a fan of any club however big or small is past on from generation to generation therefore hereditary ... in Asia theres no rel knowledge of the game and little club loyalty , fans are fickle they follow a club while its winning or because they like the shirt ... car bumper stickers and decals get changed more often than underwear here ... the TFL is trying to recreate the English leagues model but so far its just not happening due to numerous factors including corruption.

With regard to real football i wouldnt expect anyone from nations such as USA , Australia , Canada or NZ to have a clue about the true feeling of following a football club (big or small ) as it has never been part of their history they just tried and failed to join in (MLS example) .. which in reality was always gonna be the case when they have their own more prominent sports such as Rounders Netball and Hockey ... etc etc .

Only my opinion .. agree or not hey ho.
