Proof if ever proof was needed to never argue with an idiot.

Thanks for the reminder though. Much appreciated.

🔴 BREAKING
Starting from 21 July, domestic airlines are not allowed to fly passengers out of the dark red zones.
This includes Bangkok.
Exceptions are Sandbox and Samui+ flights, medical flights and emergency landing.
Other routes can only fly at 50% capacity.

📌 UPDATE 1: Nok Air has posted to confirm they will operate on 19th and 20th July. However, for flights from 21st July onwards, passengers must check schedules on their website or from the QR code in the graphic. I’m not sure what that means. Are they cancelling flights or not? Lots of questions in the comments on their Facebook but no answers yet.
📌 UPDATE 2: Thai Lion Air has just posted their response which only confirms that they will operate domestic flights as normal until 20th July. After that, we can presume they are cancelling all flights.
📌 UPDATE 3: Thai Vietjet has posted to confirm that they are flying their normal domestic schedule until 20th July. Beyond that date, they are neither confirming or denying that they will be flying.
📌 UPDATE 4: Bangkok Airways has posted that they confirm they will operate domestic flights up until 20th July. After that, it looks like they are cancelling most flights until at least 4th August. Exceptions are Samui+ flights and Samui-Phuket round trips.

It appears people have less than 48 hours to decide where they really need to be versus where they simply want to be.

Stay home or stay down there. Either way stay safe.

50 million more doses of Pfizer vaccine, more Moderna expected to be purchased

Looks like DPM Anutin has tasked yet another government agency to start working on procurement. Note there is no reference to when these will be procured or delivered.

50 million more doses of Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine and an unspecified amount of Moderna vaccine are likely to be purchased by Thailand, to address the continual surge in infections and deaths, according to Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul yesterday (Sunday).

Key words underlined.

Yep.

I got to the "enter your details" page, so assume it continues further.

Makes sense that it's geoblocked. Anyone arriving from overseas has 15 days of ASQ serenity to file his local travel permission paperwork.
