Reform UK party

Post by Drunk Monkey » January 7, 2021, 8:03 pm

From Midnight tonight the UK political system will have another player ... the REFORM UK Party set up and lead by Nigel Farage has been given the green light by the electoral commission and is active from tomorrow.

Shame Farage had blotted his copy book the previous day by giving the criminal Blair an endorsement ...

What this space , not within the realms of possibility R UK P could snaffle a huge slice of the vote in future elections.

Must admit i never really had a crush or lasting friendship with Trump .. but it was fun while it lasted... he certainly livened up the US political scene with his tweetings and crazy speeches and rants.

I think you will find Mr Farage and DT will drift apart over the next few months ..the love affair is over .. and needs to be if Farage seriously wants to be UK PM in the future , im not sure he does maybe just get the party in the right place for another leader Tice for example or even better wonder woman herself n my lastest crush Anne Widacombe.

Move along now, nothing to see here. His once and future Brexit Party has simply renamed itself, that's all. This was done to avoid confusing their narrow voter base and anyone else coming out of a five year coma. Everyone knows their horse has bolted.

He claims, “We have a huge opportunity as a nation post-Brexit, but there are many areas of the UK that need real, bold reform: our economy, House of Lords, BBC, civil service, the voting system to mention a few.” Notable that they don't have plans for stumping north of Hadrian's (again) so I guess his "many areas of the UK" are still all within 50 miles of Thanet.

https://www.standard.co.uk/news/politic ... 23772.html

Apart from the social stigma of very publicly bathing in Trump's adulation and swooning at his fake idolatry, I reckon our Nige could be onto a real winner though. I mean the British political theater really needs another thin-skinned narcissist doesn't it?

An interesting read here that suggests just as the Brexit Party was a better vehicle than UKIP ever was, maybe his NEXT flash car after Reform UK will start getting him on the podium. Anyone remember the 1970's Vauxhall Viva? That's the Brexit Party. Reform UK is the equivalent of the Firenza, the Viva's 2-door version. Looks flash but an absolute dog at pulling a decent shag. Back seat was bloody useless too! Knowing his flounceability, despite being the prime age for senior statesmanship come the next election, I doubt he has the bottle. However, depending on the Tories post-Brexit performance playing out alongside Labour's enduring existential angst while the LibDems contemplate each others navels, there's a definite toe-hold there. Maybe.

Most definately is a slice of the action to be had by another party.. as its a piss poor choice at the mo.

Torys .. all depends how Brexit pans out but their handing of Covid could see them fall
Labour .. shambolic
Lib Dems ... WHO?

None stand for the everyday working class .. ENTER the Reform Party to sweep up.

Im sure the current state of UK politics the monster raving looney party will pick up more votes in the next election .. maybe even the greens . Boris already hinting at cancelling local elections due to covid thus giving the Brexit effect time to sink in ... but it could be the terrible handling of covid that does for your bestest buddy Bojo Statts.. in that case enter Farage or Widdacombe .. (i think shes great).

Interesting to see how the voting pans out in NI , Wales .... and of course Scotland !!

Looks like UKIP morphed into the Brexit Party and now BREXIT IS DONE into the Reform UK Party ..

Nigel Farage quits politics: Brexit mastermind steps down after 30 years in spotlight.

With council and mayoral elections due in England in May, which party's going to benefit from Nigel's latest, "final" flounce?

Thought this was quite funny. Farage has joined Cameo to make a few quid & he immediately got trolled
Farage trolled on Cameo as user asks him to congratulate migrant
The Mail OnLine
09/03/2021

Nigel Farage has been trolled on the online message platform Cameo by a Twitter user who asked him to congratulate a migrant who had been granted asylum in the UK.
Bafta-winning activist Hassan Akkad, who is himself a refugee in the UK after fleeing Syria, requested a personalised message from Farage just days after the former UKIP-leader launched his Cameo account.

Image

Mr Akkad shared screenshots of the exchange on his Twitter feed which shows Nigel Farage refusing the video message request by simply stating 'I am not for channel crossings'
In the request, he wrote: 'Please say congratulations to my friend Mohammad for being granted asylum in the UK after his perilous boat crossing.
'Please wish him a peaceful life here and that him and his wife have many kids. (Hassan)'
The request for a Cameo video was sent to Farage's account but, according to screenshots shared by Mr Akkad, Nigel refused.
In the reply shared on Twitter, Mr Farage simply said: 'I am not for channel crossings.'

Sharing the stunt on Twitter, he wrote: 'I tried to book Nigel on Cameo, but he rejected my request. Sad.'

Nigel Farage launched his Cameo career days ago which enables people to request personalised video messages from the man himself for £75.
It comes as Mr Farage announced he was stepping down as The Reform UK party leader - and from frontline politics - on Saturday.
Writing for MailOnline, he said: 'I have made this decision because, again, I want my life back. This time, I really have knocked on my last door. It has been a long, hard road, but I've accomplished more than anybody believed possible.'

Nigel Farage launched his account this week and described it as his 'next incarnation' after announcing he was stepping down from politics
But in what is seen as a lucrative money-spinner the 56-year-old announced the next day he had joined Cameo's raft of celebrities offering personalised messages.
In a promotional clip, Mr Farage bursts out of a red phone box and says: 'Hello, I'm Nigel Farage and Cameo is my latest incarnation.
'So if you want a message for Mother's Day, a birthday, wedding to surprise somebody I'm happy to do it but I promise I will mention Brexit, I will mention Trump... God, I hope the pubs open soon.'
He made £160 on his first day on the platform, with several five-star reviews being left by happy customers.
One person said: 'Thank you! I have sent to my three brothers and they all think it's absolutely brilliant!'
Another customer said: 'Brilliant, will make his day!'
