This is an interesting read on the chronology, how the invaders got in, how the House chambers were evacuated and how the invaders were evicted. Not weighted by any political bias, just a factual account of what was perpetrated and leaves out the rumored participation of antifa or BLM or off-duty police and military.

Looks like the narrative of the Democrat's "big tech sponsors" stifling the First Amendment is Fox News' latest bogeyman.

Senator Hawley (R-Mo) fist-pumped the protesters outside the Capitol on his arrival for the vote certification procedure. Then he cries when Simon and Schuster cancel his book publication due to (he claims) they consider his stance on the 2020 vote is seditious. Despite their mentioning his possible "involvement" in fomenting the Capitol invasion, maybe, just maybe, his book "The Tyranny of Big Tech" was mostly rubbish?

Trump resigns (as he and Pence, I guess are talking again) prior to 20 Jan, in order to have Pence pardon him.
* Only reason, I logically see this not happening would be if Pence declines the offer.

Benefit for Trump doing this:
- possibly derails the impeachment process. Allowing him to run in 2024.
- avoids the legal crap shoot of a self pardon (#1 reason).

Benefit for Pence (very little):
- might regain the support of Trumpers.
- re-enforces his loyalty to Trump.
* never mind, really no upside for Pence doing this. thus, decreasing it's possibility.
