The answer must be yes, Zid - but you did make me check the itinerary! Pleased to say direct flight takes 1 hr 20 mins and lands same day. I don't know when the new service starts, but I booked a promotion which closed around New Year. I'm not flying till end of March, thus my concern the schedule may get changed. I understand it's NOT a prop plane, but one of the normal fleet/capacity. Whether Nok Air is continuing, I don't know. Now I'm waiting for the Udon FC fixtures, in the hope they may be away to Chiang Mai or Lampang on that weekend. Mind you, the wife will never believe it's a coincidence.Zidane wrote: ↑January 7, 2018, 10:51 am... booking early bargain fares with Air Asia. Three person return fares Udon to Chiang Mai for 5,000 baht is great
It is an excellent return price,Brian, but I thought only Nok Air flew from Udon to Chiang Mai ?
Have Air Asia also started a direct flight from Udon, otherwise you would have to fly via Bangkok ?
P.S. Now searching the Air Asia schedule, the new service seems to start from 15 Feb.
