Good work! I would reckon 7 out of 10 for a first attempt. Unlike my first batch, at least you can recognize what they're meant to be!kopkei wrote: ↑October 16, 2020, 8:54 amwell i did an attempt to make my own puff pastry for croissants ...

They are labor intensive and it's a reason why I can't get too enthusiastic about baking my own Aberdeen 'rowies'. Hours of patiently rolling and folding and rolling and 'resting' all for a dozen sumptuous fresh baked butteries that get demolished in twenty minutes by the live-in gannets.

Re: baking
I see in several of your recepies that you use Basmati rice, anything wrong with thai Jasmine rice?
Re: baking
LB,i tryed it loooong time ago and like the "dryer and longer rice",together with my herb when cooking it it just taste better,me think. But i should try to find the Brown Basmati who they say has a more nutty flavor. But Khaow hom malie special cut my wife buys is also good..What i miss most is our Swedish Mandel Potatoes, yellow and very nice.lassebasse wrote: ↑October 18, 2020, 4:15 pmI see in several of your recepies that you use Basmati rice, anything wrong with thai Jasmine rice?

Re: baking
No I haven't tried them yet. Hope you find them suitable. Doubtful that you will find any that match Nordic blueberries though. Canadian berries may come close. I've eaten really delicious fresh wild blueberries while in Canada.
Re: baking
Australian blueberries are grown in colder climat in Australia, the video tells us.Same as the Peruvian grown up in the mountain part of Peru...and they are goooood. Then you have also diffrent strains..China that use to buy at Macro..is no more put in the trolley or my tummy for that matter
