Hope it's an unfounded rumor! Quite a character, he and his wife were an entertaining couple in more ways than one. Cycled through many bars since I 1st came across him in the olde Farang ally about 2001.

I hope its not true , just watch a video of a monk talking to a farang saying ' we have farang in the temple , his name is Justin and he used to have the Aussie bar in town '. Sounds like him. I thought he was living back in Aussie land and I'm sure if he was back we would of heard about it.

Justin had his Ausie Bar right opposite my bar in the old alley and I much enjoyed watching the antics between him and his then, wife.
I do hope that he remains alive and kicking and will post on here.
Any news about this would be much appreciated

Well don't ask the 'Issan Farang', you will get more bs. He was at the footy last night in Brisbane, my good mate spoke to him, so this bs can be put to bed.

Not good reporting, why don't people get true information first before they post fake news probably done in good intention but nevertheless could cause a lot if grief for someone.

To be fair the issan farang would have no idea who Justin is ,so the report comes directly from the monk . I guess Justin must have got told by now and must be pissing himself finding out he just died in Thailand. Saying that RIP whoever the fella was.

No wonder the monk had a big smile on his face in the video. Bet him and the other monks had a good laugh about it at the temple. :crying: :pirate:

An old rip-off artist.
He'd buy you a beer as a gesture of friendship.
You'd reciprocate with a Jack and coke, which is what he preferred.
When you were ready to settle, there would be seven Jack and cokes on your bill.

Agree
Total confidence trickster.
Created many problems in udon during his duration of stay and continual run ins wthe local Thai constabulary.
Did no favors for decent honest farangs reputations.
Udon a better place without his likes.

Not when referring to fools in Thailand, it's 'soon'.
