2 billion from AstraZeneca and another 1 billion produced in India (Serum Institute of India) for a vaccine that will not be proved safe or effective for another 12 to 18 months.

Question
Have any members had or enquired in regard to Covid PCR test at any of the UT hospitals?
Specifically the 3 day prior to travel PCR test required by many countries.

Bangkok Hospital. 4500 baht. Includes letter of test result but not 'Fit to Fly' letter (on request at no additional charge). Test one day, results received the next day. Available 7 days a week. Can do as walk-in but best make an appointment.

Word coming through now is that the visa extension amnesty is being extended.
Go direct to a Thai immigration office and apply. For all visa types.
Extension starts
1st November for a maximum of 60 days.

^ I guess they just got the memo that there won't be any charter flights chock full of well-heeled Chinese coming any time soon so better suck up to the "captive audience" they already have.

Went to check Bangkok Hospital today and the PCR test is as you say 4500 but the fit to fly letter is not in that cost but 500 bht extra.
5000 all up.
