Seems the 'jelly' wasn't mixed right, too watery. A bit gutted as just had to throw away all of them. A sad sight seeing 160 pork pies being thrown out.
12 pound sausage pie?

Seems that the one's that we're brought on Sunday we're very good.
Yes OK the day they were made but the wife made 2 batches ,first one right but watery 2 and batch, then they were all put together and no way of telling them apart so they all had to go sadly. Gutted

DR and I (with our wives) are coming to enjoy your famous Roast Beef lunch next weekend. Please whatever you do don't mention sausages.
Sounds interesting, I shall bring Mrs M and make several enquiries about sausages, does it involve you getting hurt Alex?
Only hurt I will be feeling is the pain of stitches out from back op prior to coming for lunch Vince.

Looking forward to being the catalyst of your pain.

Can you translate jockynese , Edinburgh not too bad but Glasgow is hard work  . making apple crumbles to go with vanilla ice cream for those that suffer from anorexia. Second thoughts ? No one who eats my Sunday lunch looks like they starve themselves

Went here for Sunday Lunch yesterday and the food is great. The meat is served to your plate and the vegetables, stuffing and Yorkshire puds are all buffet style, great value, recommended. Was great to bump into some old faces too.

It was a bit quiet yesterday but I put that down to the weather. Let me know next time so I can reserve seating for you , my wife has just ordered more tables and chairs as the trick seems to be letting people choose how much and what they want on their plate. Good news is I have enough left over for bubble and squeek for my breakfast :D

Probably not every Sunday for me Papa/Vince. A 110 klick round trip can just be a wee bit too much for lunch. But if Papa puts 'haggis' on the menu, will be first in the door. :D

Then dr better buy at least half-a-dozen to keep the overtopping freeloaders happy.
