I was good friends with a retired professional footballer who got nine caps for his country. Who was he?

Is that vague enough to play in this football trivia game?
747 should know the answer mate, 😂 😂 😂

When I was 12, I worked in a fruit & veg wholesalers. A grocer used to come in everyday to collect his supplies & told me he had two caps playing football for England. What vehicle did he use to collect his spuds?

Actually that’s a good answer. Not the trivial one I was thinking of in the spirit of this game, but good nonetheless 👍

A trivia question for today which will test even 747man and Jimmy Melia....
In 2002 I was in an Altrincham pub one Sunday evening and was bought a pint by a former Manchester City manager.
Can you name the manager.... and the pub ? ;)

Unfortunately it's the 18th at 2am, it's a big game for us, a win would most likely keep us up, I just hope Moyes doesn't start getting all weird and change the team too much.

That's a very intelligent guess but unfortunately wrong on both counts. :D
