The video takes too long to NOT name anybody, just a couple of companies.

Wasn't there much fuss about the government appointing someone with the sole task of monitoring and approving the end-to-end PPE acquisitions program? Some nameless junior minister that had to report to Hancock? This was around the time of the Turkish PPE fiasco where the RAF flew through the night to deliver 1 pallet of ultimately sub-standard kit.

gosh mech , i don't know what to think now...

Sturgeon condemns ‘utterly shameful’ violence after rival protesters clash in Glasgow

"Scotland’s first minister Nicola Sturgeon has decried violent protests as “utterly shameful” after police in Glasgow worked to avert a clash between two rival groups in the city’s George Square.

Hundreds of people affiliated with loyalist organisations arrived at the square under the statue of Metropolitan Police founder Robert Peel after protestors called for the monument’s removal.

Despite the original protest - organised by the Glasgow Youth Art Collective - over the statue being called off, police were forced to put themselves between those who had gathered in the square and a small group with unknown affiliations as the two sides lobbed projectiles at one another.

Officers have said the second group, who were forced back up North Hanover Street and away from the square by officers, are not believed to be connected to Black Lives Matter protestors who have demonstrated across the UK since the death of black American George Floyd in Minneapolis."

AFAIK, she hasn't banned anything. Meanwhile, in other real news...

Protests BANNED: Gatherings of more than six people now ILLEGAL - London must act

"A NEW law has been introduced banning mass gatherings in London as the country continues to battle against COVID-19. After the capital saw outbreaks of riots over the weekend, MPs have unanimously approved the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (England) (Amendment) (No.3) Regulations 2020. This new law bans mass gatherings in London in a fight to stop the spread of the deadly virus."

That's English parliamentarians going head-to-head with Mayor Sadiq Khan and the Met.

it sounds like utter chaos . if 50 odd footy hooligans can take over a city block, they need
to call in home guard or whatever they are

No National Guard needed in the good old UK, mech. That camouflaged buffer to freedom of expression is an entirely American construct as are city 'blocks'.

From a BBC report of today's briefing by Matt Hancock with reference to priority for future vaccines

"He adds that the government will continue to take into account those who are most vulnerable including those from BAME backgrounds"

As a fairly balanced person when it comes to politics, I find this example of reverse racism abhorrent. Hopefully just a sound bite but, a ridiculous statement.

^ You have to take into consideration who spoke these words. I remember back in the good old days listening to "Hancock's Half Hour" on the old steam radio and having a jolly good wheeze.

In the current vogue of governmental cluelessness, did you know that the UK's current Foreign Secretary PUBLICLY thought that 'Taking the Knee' came from the Game of Thrones movie franchise?

That's right up there with Donny John's blissful ignorance about Juneteenth.

This should have all the "friends of Dorothy" who prefer sticking their heads between other mens buttocks in a lather. Even sensible chaps like me who prefer the round ball are outraged.

Good grief! If they ban that, what will thousands of hash house harriers sing at the end of the circle?
