Indeed. As I mentioned on another forum, a few days back on Sky TV (UK) a shot of a crowd of protesters in the UK included a white woman, shouting 'I can't breath' between swigs from a large can of beer.AlexO wrote: ↑June 10, 2020, 12:09 amProtesting against what 93. You poor wee soul, someone used offensive language while you were protesting about what was it again? The sad thing is that a great number of protesters in a crowd have absolutely no idea what they are protesting about, its just a day out with their friends and a chance for some more selfies.GT93 wrote: ↑June 7, 2020, 3:58 amI've been to protests in Melbourne where we would have been pleased to get 100 people. I didn't think the people at the protests were scum although it appears Sport might have got a bit excited about us. I recall some people used to get very upset when they came across protestors. Even when there were police nearby some people felt free to threaten to kill us and to use really obscene language. They would even act like this in front of children. After a good while, the cops would ask them to dial down their language.
George who?

Life goes on.
Every time I walk past a Falun Dafa (Falun Gong) protest in Auckland I happily sign their petitions. I like to think even a red neck such as sport might do the same. Pointing the finger at the Chinese government should be fine for the ... the deplorables. Not quite the word I was fishing for but it gives the drift. Bunker boy isn't that keen on the Chinese government at present.

ha ha.
I was inducted into the Lapa mob (La Perouse where I grew up) for doing just that. Very proudly been honored by my aboriginal mates on March 22, 2002.
If you think the successful protest for the South Sydney Rabbitohs was embarrassing, you are simply displaying your ignorance about one of the most significant events in Australian sport. Send an email to the owner Russell Crowe and try to explain why he should be embarrassed to have helped kick the nasty American Rupert Murdoch in the ar$e.

Russ,
was born in in NZ, when he was 4 years old the family moved to Australia, he grew up in the suburb of Mascot in Sydney until finishing high school in NZ, then back to Oz to attend NIDA.
Before you try to be a smart ar$e about Murdoch, he was born in Australia but renounced his citizenship. Like many Americans he placed his hand over his wallet and swore allegiance.
Don't let the truth get in the way of you proving to all a sundry that you are a pratt.

It's fun having mech pointing the finger in the downunder threads. He enjoys it too. He'll be here to stay. He has a lot of stamina for this. Here's a photo for mech:

“One of the most significant events in Australian sport. “
I still can’t stop laughing.
Must be a long list that comes from.
At least the crowds are back into the NRL stadiums.
Well not crowds but a few.

Oh Barney,
You are not just mistaken but downright lying. If super league was big and world series cricket was big, what have you got to replace them in the last 50 years as the biggest events in Australian sport. C'mon big mouth, one event that even got close

What's a fake Aussie mech? I suppose there are fake Americans in your book too. This seems a dark cloud issue rather than a ray of sunshine.
The Aussie professional sporting codes are resuming. That will put a smile on many Aussie faces.

Perhaps Barr is a fake American. That might explain why he often looks very shifty although he isn't as shifty as usual in the photo posted by coxo.
