Do you know what his physical condition was prior to being assaulted by the police?
No, but mentally impaired to be at a protest at 75, and approaching a wall of marching police.

the video evidence seems pretty clear.
Yes, that he reaches out to touch, (assault), the police officer

Cut and dry, He's F#cked, two ways, and deserves it

Jack
There's the rub, you watched and saw assault etc
I watched and saw a silly person regardless of his age do a senseless act which resulted in him being injured
Just because he's 75 or 175 doesn't make what he dis a wise choice to me.
but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I've watched it a few times and I'm not seeing 75 year old Mr. Gugino assaulting the policeman. Don't suppose you'd be able to screenshot it would you?

So you don't know his physical condition, but you do know his mental condition. :D

I haven't read that he (Gugino) has been charged with anything, but that the 2 police officers who assaulted him have been suspended and charged with 2nd degree assault.

That would seem to make them far more F#cked than him - assuming the old guy makes a full recovery that is.

At the 6-7 sec mark, clearly attempts to touch the officer.
Officer, shows no signs of acceptance to that gesture.

A good lawyer will claim attempted assault.
Easy

Plenty of time for charges to be laid.
I wouldn't get too excited yet

My old eyes are not seeing it that's why I asked you to do a screenshot of Mr. Gugino assaulting the police officer.

The old boy probably thought the cops wouldn't clobber him because of his age. He got that seriously wrong and got an almighty shove. The cops just can't behave like this any more given all the cameras and phones that are around.

I said he reaches out to touch, (assault), the officer.
I didn't say that he actually touched him.

I'm saying it is classed as attempted assault.

Seems you have Whistler's problem, of reading things that aren't written.

Ok I have a question on law enforcement in general during these "protests"
on the 2nd June a retired police captain in St Louis was murdered while trying to protect a friends shop from looters on the same night in St Louis 4 other police officers were shot and other officers were pelted with rocks and fireworks 55 businesses were robbed.
My question is
While you are a highly trained etc etc police officer about to go out on your shift to up hold law and order, what is going through your mind knowing what's happening to your colleagues in other areas, are you slightly apprehensive or do you keep believing the next guy that comes at you only wants to shake your hand in friendship.

Fair enough. Poor cop must have been terrified at 75 year old Martin coming at him like that.

Who knows what he was trying to do? He seemed to have papers or something in his hand. He was an irritant rather than a threat to the cops. He was kind of behaving like he doesn't have the full quid.

The cops who shoved him seem to have regretted what they did immediately. They must have felt sick when they saw the blood. They would have been anxious he might die.

I think that the majority of police officers in UK and USA probably do a difficult job well. Their biggest threat dies not lie with ths assailsnts on the streetsbut with the gutter anti establishment media, gutter HR ambulance chasing lawyers not to forget antifa funding Soros, a guy I would be happy to see ending like Mussollini ,hanging by wire from a prominent lampost.

Soros funding ANTIFA

Conspiracy theory only without one shred of evidence. Pure Right Wing BS.

And the minority who don't do the job well?

Who is to hold them accountable for their varying degrees of misdemeanours up to violent crimes and murder, if not the "anti-establishment media" and "ambulance chasing lawyers", in the absence of any action by the good apples in uniform?

For that matter, posters on public forums who advocate the lynching of others for reasons not explained (if that is possible). :-k
