There are bad cops the same as there are bad people. They need to be eliminated. That said, why are some people stupid enough to resist arrest? They know they can't get away and bad things could happen to them for resisting. It's NOT OK to spit in a cops face, insult or fight with them.

It's possible to restrain a suspect without kneeling on their neck, restricting oxygen and ultimately killing them.

Yes most definitely and it's possible to protest without rioting burning and looting.

Michael Render (rapper Killer Mike) makes moving, emotional plea for calm in Atlanta urging protesters not to destroy their city but to organise and vote for leaders who will fight systemic racism.

I suspect so. I doubt that the CNN crew would have been arrested if they were pretty white guys and girls.

With massive unemployment, there will be plenty of frustrated people, predominantly young, with time on their hands itching to get out there and join the protests.

You dreamin or what?

Here's the deal, 1 week before the 2106 election;

With just one week to go, at offshore sportsbooks and at shops in the betting-mad United Kingdom, Clinton remains a substantial favorite, with odds hovering around -300 – meaning one must bet $300 to win $100. Meanwhile, Trump is in the range of a +275 underdog – meaning a $100 bet could bring in $275.

This week Trump has been doing all he can to rally part's of Biden's base. In November I'm expecting a huge turnout of leftie Christians and the African-Americans who are permitted to vote. Trump just isn't that smart.

I think this election is completely different from 2016. Trump is now the incumbent in the White House or in recent times in the bunker under the White House. He isn't an outsider any more. He carries the can for the bleak state of the US.

Moscow Mitch and his do nothing Senate team are also overdue a significant electoral slap. Useless gits.

Apparently there are some decent, thinking, republicans left in the USA.
The Lincoln Project is an American political action committee formed in late 2019 by several prominent Republicans and former Republicans. The goal of the committee is to prevent the reelection of Donald Trump in the 2020 presidential election.

How pathetic. Get a pristine posed picture of the person or cause you are pushing then find a totally unflattering picture of the person or cause you are against Do you really think people are that stupid? As I said PATHETIC.

I agree Joudon, it debases the contest. A problem sadly on both sides of politics

Jack,

Studies in advertising show that they are more than twice as powerful as the written or spoken word. If you looked at any of the Murdoch mastheads,in the past 10 years they have used front page cartoon/images to demonise Progressives, sadly it has been effective in trivialising import issues

The 75 year-old activist in Buffalo who ended up with a cracked skull on the sidewalk wasn't resisting arrest. Didn't spit either.

I think the Secret Service would have rushed Trump down into the bunker on account of his bone spur disability. If Fox News was on the telly and the Diet Coke was flowing, he would have been quite happy hanging out there for a while. I don't think his time in the bunker will affect his electoral chances.

Just keep up the riots looting anti Trump media and November is a forgone conclusion.
