I have gone solar powered and now have an unneeded generator and water pump. The 5000 watt electric start generator powered the Franklin 1 HP deep well submersible water pump. I have priced the generator at 15,000 baht and the pump at 6.000 baht. The items would have to be picked up near Nong Hin, Loei province.

The generator price is not firm. I thought I paid 30,000 baht for it and thus priced it at half the cost. My wife says I didn't pay that much for it and she will check the new cost at the shop where we bought it.

My wife has a better memory than I have. She thought I paid 17,000 baht for it. The adjusted price is half of that or about 8,000 baht.

The 5,000 watt generator is big enough to run a welder and since her farms are all off the grid, I decided to keep it. Many things are often in need or repair so it is handy to keep especially at the low price I was asking. My wife says that if I am keeping the generator, she can use the submersible water pump for irrigating small patches of gardens.
