As predicted S Korea and China removed from the C 19 risk list .. full steam ahead to lif those flight bans and get them back here a tourists ASAP .. next thing dropping the 14 day quarantine for them as well..

I thought both countries especially S Korea has seen a surge in cases recently ..but hey dont let that get in the way of the agendas of some people in high places ..

No new cases today and 1 released from Hospital with no deaths.

Yesterdays figure of 7 new cases were not so bad as all the cases were from Thai Nationals
who had returned from Pakistan & were already in Government Quarantine.

So there were no new infections from the general public yesterday or today.

The Department of Disease Control has explained the reasons for removing China, South Korea as well as Hong Kong and Macau from the list of countries with high risk of Covid-19 infection.

The announcement, signed by Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, has been published in the Royal Gazette on Friday (May 15) and will go into effect as of May 16.“The criteria that we use to consider lifting the status ‘high risk of infection’ are: The territory must have less than 20 internal cases in the past 14 days, and that it must have medical and public health readiness to effectively handle the outbreak,” said Dr Walairat Chaifoo, the department’s head of epidemiology, on Friday (May 15).Walairat added that China has reported less than 12 new patients per day since April 23, except on April 29 when there were 21 new cases from overseas and one local case.

Just look at China's numbers date 20/04 82747 confirmed 15/05 82933 confirmed

seems a few more than 20 in 14 days
