So, What is open in Udon?
Re: So, What is open in Udon?
Hi, so what's open in Central Plaza, example phone shops etc, has anyone been there before I make the trip in.
Re: So, What is open in Udon?
Went yesterday morning.... Banks, phone companies, open... Basement, tops, drug stores, takeaway food-order counters open.
Re: So, What is open in Udon?
OK thanks

Note that if you want Tops or other basement food shopping, best to park underground and come in the back way.
If you want banks and mobile phone business, better park out the front and use the front escalators to 2nd floor.
Up until last week, you couldn't go from basement to 2nd floor internally and vice versa as they have internal barricades to direct customers to/from 2nd floor and the main front entrance. The short escalator at the back opposite Tops takes you to the KFC, McDonalds, Starbucks level and the main back entrance but no further. Most escalators are turned off and blocked.

That must be a recent thing, well in the last 7 days at least. We went last week & I got distracted & parked on level 3 (maybe 4) & we used escalators down to Topps & back up again. Admittedly it was a trek about, for some reason a full ‘stack’ of escalators (is this the right description?) weren’t on so when you reached the floor you had to walk to another escalator usually at the opposite end which was odd. Maybe it was to space people apart.

Elevators? Lifts? Tut...
Yes I’d probably call it a stack or block too

The forest was shrinking daily but the trees kept voting for the axe as its handle was made of wood and they thought it was one of them.

OK thanks, the shop I want is Big Camera, I called and they said they'll be opening Monday 17th May, so possibly it's nearly all opening then.

Complex “Centra” open to 4½ floor for parking. Want to bypass BS walk up to 5th floor and take elevator.
Shops seemed to be open, except for one I wanted on 2nd floor.
Royal Project wife found a few items, I found 2. Slim Pickens
TOPS my cart was bare, don’t seem to re-stock items I look for, wife had no problem running bill up to 1,700+ Think inflation has hit Udon?
Thoughts. Until this crazyness is over plus 2 weeks, think all my shopping will be very "local" as in village or Lazada.
Big Tesco same problems, very long line to get in, but go to center door, and no problem, ck temp, and I bypassed the other BS.

Re: So, What is open in Udon?
^ Haven't the actual mall shop openings always been 11 a.m.? I've never needed to get there that early.
If they're blocking access from the basement to the upper floors until 11 a.m., maybe better to basement park and do the Tops shopping first? If you're not into Tops shopping, come later?

Before all this madness happened, the hours if I remember right, which is hard at my age.
Mon thur Fri 10AM to closing
and
Sat & Sun 11AM to closing.
Never remembered the closing times because at my age, it was well pass my bedtime, I think.
