With he whole Dynamo Dresden team under quarantine for 14 days and then presumably needing a couple of weeks to train before playing, they must now rethink the plans in Germany

And NOW Is the time to NULL & VOID The Season,Or there WILL Be Deaths !!
Loosely translates as can we void the season so you can post your childish anti-Liverpool memes and cartoons. Should be interesting to see how much you care about deaths then.
When 747 says, 'There will be deaths' I am pretty sure he wasn't talking about followers of Liverpool or Leeds or Fort William topping themselves over the inevitable, logical and sensible cancellation of the UK footy season.

The groundsman (?) at Fort William must be dreading the restart, there must be a 2ft high pile of sheep poo where there was once a pitch :-&

Its only gonna take one high profile ""super star" player in the top half a dozen fashionable clubs to be infected and its game over (excuse the pun) and void /cancel the rest of the 2019/20 footy season .. which IMO is the best and most sensible option.

17 Watford 29 -17 27
18 Bournemouth 29 -18 27
19 Aston Villa 28 -22 25

Not a suprize bearing in mind WHU are looking very likely to be one of the sides relegated.

Im guessing

TOP 8 want season finished
Bottom 10 want it voided
All in between 50/50

Premier League return handed government boost despite growing concerns over neutral stadiums proposal

The Premier League has been handed a huge boost about a June return ahead of today's big meeting.

Boris Johnson addressed the public on Sunday, revealing a plan to guide the country out of lockdown over the following months.

On Monday the Prime Minister will reveal in Parliament further details of his roadmap to get out of lockdown, with a government paper on elite sports expected to be published on Tuesday, report The Telegraph.

These plans will give the green light for professional sports to return next month, including the Premier League's planned resumption on June 12, subject to safety conditions being met and coronavirus infection rates not rising.

However, Boris Johnson’s go-ahead comes as up to eight Premier League clubs are expected to argue against the use of neutral venues and call for ‘Project Restart’ to be put back at a crucial meeting today.

Clubs threatened with relegation are opposed to the prospect of playing crucial fixtures that could define their league status away from their home ground, even behind closed doors.

The initial number of clubs against the latest proposal is rising, with the report stating the amount has grown from six to eight, which is hugely significant.

Up to 12 teams (later amended to all 20 voted against) against neutral venues and FA pokes its oar in and scores classic own goal.

Prem going back to get police to change their stance

Not sure what FA thought they were going to achieve by insisting there was a conclusion providing promotion/relegation, all they have done is now FORCED the bottom six (and their sympathisers) to vote for the whole season to be null and void ......... if it didnt take place you cannot be relegated .. stuff that one in yer rule book FA. It would appear the TV co's want most of their money back if games are behind closed doors so there seems even less of a reason to play on

if there wasnt so much money involved with the TV broadcasters and sponsors etc etc the footy would have been voided already .. they are trying to find a way round it ANYWAY for moneysake nothing else.

Do the FA , PL all discussing ways to solve this problem really think anyone who has lost a loved one care about football let alone worry about the money issues with the TV companies etc..

Pushing to get games played thus causing a spike or second wave of infections is crazy. The only sensible route is to cancel now and prepare for next season , this should have been done a week or so ago as the French and Dutch did , more so with the German restart not going well.

Better get everyone back from all corners of the world soon or they will be subject to 14 day quarantine (if they can make up their minds what the "Science advises") BEFORE they start training ......... or else their private jets will have to arrange to land at Lille so as they can catch the Eurostar
