Visited 4 shops and a wholesaler in Kutchap today, they’re all under the understanding that the ban has been lifted for tomorrow (Sunday) only.....
No one else is assuming that Chriss. But if figures for Covis-19 jump after the complete pigswill the powers that be have made with allowing holiday Inter-Province travel from the Bangkok hotspot we can expect another booze ban and complete lockdown to follow quickly.

Monday (Coronation Day) would not be classed as a dry day under normal circumstances but Wednesday (One of the biggest Buddha Days) would have been a bar and entertainment venues closed and no booze sales from retailers. No one knows if the main important person will be there on Monday or for the following weeks Royal Ploughing Ceremony.

So have we established whether it’s from the 3rd or is it the 3rd only?
The forest was shrinking daily but the trees kept voting for the axe as its handle was made of wood and they thought it was one of them.

Ive been given the nod i can go pick up Stock in Bkk next week and travel with it along with my business company DBD documents and current wholesale distribution license ... BUT .. i wont be going at least until the holiday traffic clears up and may even carry on with our plan to restart June 1st ,see how things pan out.

I believe its from SUNDAY and on going but allow for bank hol dry buddha (next Wednesday 6th ) days and if the individual province governor agrees or not ..as was the case in Sa Kaew where he decided the booze ban will run until 31st May .

According to National Press the GOVERNMENT has decided that the BAN is lifted from the 3rd, but with restrictions. Only allowed to buy to be consumed at HOME. Not lifted for sale by others to others at outside places , countrywide.

So no serving it at restaurants. No popping a cold one at the table at the mom n pop store or in the shade outside the 7-eleven. No walking about swigging from a can or bottle.

End of the world stuff.

Not sure what you mean by the red bit KP .. as a licensed registered wholesaler i can if i wish pick up stock in Bkk and deliver to customers so they can sell takeaway in the retail market .. at the moment probably wont bother as the issue i face is the travel going through at least 4 or 5 provinces including Korat getting to Bkk with some having the 14 day quarantine restrictions in place ..

Most certainly wont travel next week as the May holidays arent over till Thursday and im leaning towards sticking to our bizz plan of June 1st as a restart ..HOPEFULLY by then things will have eased further , until then the intersection will continue to get my full attention .

^^ You're a holesailor DM so you aren't typically selling to individuals whereas the retail businesses you are selling and delivering to are. Their customers can't buy the product to be consumed on-premises. Sales must be for home consumption.

Smart move on deferred travel although with your paperwork, I think you'll be like hundreds of thousands of overnight lazada drivers and just need to stay awake... and no speeding.

So have we established it’s from the 3rd (today) not on the 3rd? Or are we still awaiting news from the governor?
