Probably not tam...the lady on the desk told me Thai Smile currently has a flight promotion that includes 10% off for the over 60,s.
I usually fly Thai Lion Air to Bangkok but we are going to Chantaburi so Suvarnabhumi was more convenient on this occassion.

Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.

I believe the 10% seniors discount is an ongoing feature, rather than a promotion. I have used it regularly for probably the past 12 months.

If you start a booking on the website, after selecting cities and dates, you end up at the "Select Passengers" section, which asks you to choose between (regular) passengers ie adult/child/infant, and Special Fare Passenger ie Senior 60+/students 18-24.

I also got an email from TS today advertising a special 14% off fare for Valentines Day bookings.

https://www.thaismileair.com/en/campaig ... segment=3A

May only apply to Thai Smile members, and probably doesn't stack with the 10% seniors discount. Minimum of 2 to fly, and cut-off dates applicable.

Tribe?

As in - children?

Yours?

Well that just about changes everything, Tam.

Anyway, I fly into BKK at 1600 hours on Thai Airways and I have enough time to pick up the 19.20 to UTH.

I wonder what time Morti is flying in? I hope he's not on some dodgy Arab airline.
British Airways direct flight

Now only give concessions to retired staff according to length of service.

One thing for sure and certain, in Bangkok and had my 1st AND LAST flight on ThaiLion.
Over an hour late leaving UTH, arrive at DMK and parked a mile away from the terminal, waited 55 mins to disembark as they could not find a set of stairs, then the effin bus got caught between to taxi ways awaiting aircraft movement = another 20 minutes.
I cranked up my phone to find an email from em asking me to fill a questionnaire about my ThaiLion experience!
Going to have fun penning that.
Sent from my 1977 Apple II using 2 Heinz bake bean cans and piano wire!

Thanks for the correct link, t-m.
