Just watched the Leeds QPR highlights n you do have a valid point ref the Rangers 'hand ball goal" ..VAR would of ruled that out for sure but obviously not in the Championship n the ref missed it.

Ref Bradford v Scunny , again highlights perused ..the Iron were the better team throughout the game but had a sloppy 5 mins in the first half ..still played well to come away with a draw ..just how Bradford are near the toppa the league is strange .. they were very poor.

Bradford got dragged down to Scunnys level or your gran edited the highlights :-$

agree that Leeds will still go up ............ but more than likely "up in smoke" like last year, and the year before, and the one before that

Alas Scunny went down 2 -1 away at Portsmouth in the early hours of the morning here .. i know twas only the league trophy but the Iron played very well n the statts with 67% possession confirms Scunny were more than a match for a Pomey side 2 levels up in the league set up .. alas its goals scored that count and possession diddly squat.

Oh look they have re jigged the Nations League format and (what a surprise) Germany wont have to drop down a league after last years relegation =; :-$

and another little gem that is being sneaked in whilst nobody is looking ............. everyone will need to play a "friendly" due to the amount of teams ............... wasn't the whole point of playing in this "sh*t tourny" to do away with the need to play friendlies ? [-X [-X [-X

Was going to put this in the premier league thread as that's where we would be by now.

LUFC leading the way again.

Only a matter of time before the other leagues follow suit .......... once end of apr comes they will stop pretending that there are other possibilities which in truth they already know there are not

It's an interesting one and, putting personal feelings aside, feel that the only way will be to fulfill the fixtures somehow. It may be in 2 months or 12 months time but, to write off 80% of the games played in a season would be a ridiculous thing to do.

I'm personally not in favour of the fudge in having a 22 team premier league next year either. Finish this season in July, October or whenever and truncate 20/21.

If clubs such as South Shilelds are thinking about legal action, what will the bigger fish do?

They will face "legal action" whichever way the jump

Watford & Bomo will almost certainly sue if they are forced to play games after their out of contract players have departed for pastures new.
The likes of Karen Brady will not let a few million quid stop her from "signing" ooc players from her rivals.
Players have signed legal contracts elsewhere starting from 1 Jul you cannot stop them leaving

as soon as "all finished by 30 June" becomes impossible they will announce 2019/20 expunged

funny you picked 5 - 0, as I was just watching Newcastle 5:0 Man Utd the look on Peter Schmeichel's face as Philipe Albert's chip sailed over his head for number 5 ........ amazing

Budesliga teams back in (semi) training (small groups) prior to playing matches behind closed doors from early May

They say it will need 250 people per game

My question is players/staff/cameramen will have to be isolated and tested every day

9 games a week (9 x 250 x 7 = 15750 tests to play 1 round of matches

at a time when the world is crying out for every test kit they can get their hands on (immoral or what)

What if Sancho or Lewandowski tests positive ........ cancel everything again

When will these loonies realise you are not gonna finish 2019/20

Expunge it all now worldwide and do everything possible to start 2020/21 on schedule (exactly same as aug 2019)

Why ruin 2 x seasons when it is still possible to just ruin one

Sorry Stats but, in my opinion, you are completely incorrect.

If the season was less than, say, halfway, you may have a point but, so late in the day it would be unjust. Better to truncate next season if necessary. I am not saying this as an LUFC fan btw. Frankly I will feel cheated when we go up behind closed doors but this is the only fair option.
