Have a great day Alan / 747 .. its only a game and defeat even at the hands of your arch rivals juniors its not life or death , support Scunny for a while eases the pain.

Is it me or has the once historic FA cup lost its interest its zazz , diminished by all the other cup competitions like the CL , Europa L etc and does playing at Wembly really mean that much now as that once hallowed turf (what the Scots didnt nick) gets used for just about every thing going nowadays ...IMO the New Wembly signed the death sentence for the name.

Yes I think the FA Cup has lost its sparkle and I think playing the semi finals at Wembley instead of a neutral venue doesn't help.
I can understand the clubs with European commitments playing weakened teams but for mid table or struggling Premiership teams the FA Cup represents the only chance of a trophy or the interest caused by a good cup run, other than the League Cup.
Everton beaten and intimidated by a team of children  maybe the young scallys said they would take the wheels off the Everton players Porches, BMW, s, Ferrari's and Mercedes parked in the Anfield car park. :D
Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.

The Gooner - Leeds game isn't bad, Khun Zinedine.

Watching it now.

Agree a very good game , first half all Leeds n they played some great footy , second half all Arsenal n they nicked a goal. LUFC didnt look at all out of place against their PL rivals ..could this be the year the mighty whites get back in the top flight after decades upon decades in the footballing wilderness ..

Coventry - Birmingham in the 4th Round FA Cup today, Alan.

Quite handy, readers, because they share the same ground.

Since the start of this season June 2019 to be exact when Coventry had to ground share due to the Ricoh stadium being made un available by the landlords (Wasps) due to unpaid bills etc.. Coventry nearly lost their league status but managed to do a deal with BCFC to use St Andrews for the 2019 -20 season.

Please keep up at the back Alan ..

Yeah, wot he said, Alan.
The EFL have currently given CCFC the ability to play outside of Coventry for up to three seasons if necessary, but the EFL will allow CCFC to return to Coventry at any point.
The CCFC owners have been fannying about looking for a ground for yonks.

or maybe just a gamble,it was the likes of lovren, origi, fabinho, matip who let the team and themselves down in my opinion, that team was good enough to see off shrewsbury but no one told them, klopp obviously wanted it done and dusted hence bringing on salah,ox ,firmino, too little to late, but once again well done to shrewsbury, earning a replay and some extra money, you done yourselves proud drawing against a stronger line up than evertons first team faced in the 3rd round
