For those interested this is a copy of the actual email (I had deleted it from my PC but was able to retrieve it from my mail server).

It's not a real pushy sales pitch and there is an 'unsubscribe' link at the bottom.

I am pissed that they were able to get (buy) some of my visa details.

Hello Xxxxx,

This is Grace from Thai Visa Centre with a November update.

We have had many retirees on a O-A type visa contacting us about the new rules. It is now REQUIRED for you to have an insurance policy for one of the approved insurers here if you want to continue to have a O-A type visa.

We have been advising those who do not want, or need insurance to transition to a NON-O type visa which does not have this requirement.

If you cannot do this on your own we can help you transition to NON-O.

If you have any visa needs please contact us ASAP, for a faster response you can also message us via LINE.

FWIW unless you know for sure that have subscribed never click on an unsubscribe link as it is just confirming that the email address is active and in most cases means that you will get more spam not less

Hi all, I don't know how they got your address but these guys are def legit. I have just used them to get my renewal and they were great. Only required 2 photos and passport and 14,000 baht, no visit to immi. I can recommend them.

I was considering using This agency. But How about the "90 day report"
I did enquire, and the said They can process that for a 350 baht a time
So actually 15,400?

Always good to hear from a happy, satisfied customer.

My only questions are:

1 - Where is your registered domicile in Thailand, ie. what Thai Immigration Office's jurisdiction does it fall under, and
2 - What Thai Immigration Office processed and issued your 'renewal'. ie, is it where you are domiciled?
3 - Where do you file your 90-day reports (if any)?

I too question how these "AGENTS" can continue to do business and openly advertise. It is clearly illegal. I had thought that the latest rule changes would put them out of business. I was wrong.

To answer your question, I will have a Bangkok address so will need to go to local immi and do TM30, no biggie! Stayed in Bkk anyway so would've had to do that anyhoo.
