Drone pilots including children will need to pass a theory test and get a £9-a-year licence or face a £1,000 fine
If pilots fly a drone after failing ‘ID’ quiz, they could face a fine of up to £1,000
The scheme, by CAA, will also create a register of all drones operated in the UK
Any drone weighing between 250g (9oz) and 20kg (44lbs) will be included
