……... Tigers broke into the top 25 ranked teams this week (#22). Should handle Vanderbilt okay next game......
Well, so much for that prediction. Commodores upset the Tigers 21 to 14. This collegiate football season has produced quite a few unexpected results.

Furthermore, Oregon State upended California and Illinois dumped Wisconsin.

Jose Altuve, with a walk-off homer against the NY Yankees put Houston in the World Series. A heck of a game, going into the final inning tied up at 4 apiece. The 1.68 m. (5' 6'') tall Altuve launched a massive drive into the stands.

This should be a great series with the Astros and Nationals.

The starting pitching should be outstanding.

Don't really follow either team, but guess I will root for the Nationals as something good needs to come out of that city.

OK, the Astros' got a run bottom of the 9th to make the scoreline... virtually irrelevant.

So that's the Cole and Verlander HOME games done and dusted... oops!

I don't understand Verlander's inability to pitch well in the World Series. He always performs well during the season, and the playoff rounds, but when the fall classic begins, he just doesn't pitch the way we expect. Perhaps he gets tired after the 32 or so starts during the season and the 2-4 starts in the playoffs and has run out of gas by the time the Series starts. This also happened when he was younger and playing for the Detroit Tigers. Strong season, weak series.

Washington, on the other hand, is a pleasant surprise. They are outplaying Houston in every category. Their pitching staff has been outstanding to date. Let's see what happens in the pivotal game three on Friday. Sanchez was off and on as a starter with Detroit, and has been good and bad for the Nationals. If he pitches well on Friday, Washington might be on their way to a pennant for the first time in a dog's age, but if he falters....

Big game in College ball today as the Tigers of L.S.U. and Auburn clash in Baton Rouge.

Houston finally woke up and defeated Washington, 4-1, but the Nationals still lead the Series two games to one.

A great game today was my KState Wildcats beating the overrated Oklahoma Sooners 48-41. Goodbye Oklahoma's championship hopes.

Yes, that was a sweet victory. Oklahoma's defence was exposed once again. Unhappily, Wisconsin did not do the same to the Buckeyes.

I think the Jayhawks gave Boomer Sooner a run for their money too.

L.S.U. edged Auburn 23-20 in the big game of the day. I have been listening to the Kentucky-Mizzou game on the radio tonight. For some reason I was able to pick up the Lexington station. The Tigers are losing to the Wildcats 29-7 with five minutes to play.

Yeah, this loss will drop Missouri to 5 and 3. They won't make it back into the top 25 this season.

Houston takes the fourth game 1 - 8 to even the series.

And the 5th game 1 - 7 to take a 3-2 lead before heading back to Minute Maid.

Strasburg's virtual one man stand stops the 'stros march in Game 6 while Rendon nails 3 homers for 5 rbi's and the Nats tie the series.

Winner take all game 7 TOMORROW!

Yes they did tam .... and their host even admitted that she was "naive" (Shock Horror)

"Co-host Dana Perino admitted that she never expected that Trump would get booed by the crowd. "I'm proved completely naive," she said. "I was the one who thought the president should go to the game. I never thought he would get booed. I thought Americans won't do that, Americans would cheer."
