More incomplete believer alarmism data. They'll never gain support like this.

Starting point years all different and hiding earlier data to enhance their alarmism.

"Indigenous water activist Autumn Peltier addressed hundreds of international guests at UN headquarters in Manhattan Saturday.
The 15-year-old activist from Wiikwemkoong First Nation on Manitoulin Island in northern Ontario urged the global community to respect the sacredness and importance of clean water.

ould you please not with the incense right now, health officials are pleading, as Thailand is already choking on enough hazardous air pollution.

As forest fires rage in Indonesia, sending thick black smoke over the Thail south for a second week, filling lungs with harmful micro-particulate dust, the Health Ministry chief has asked for people to limit their incense-burning in the coming weeks. Oh, and Bangkok’s air has gotten foul again in recent days as well. As of late Friday afternoon it sat at a “moderately unhealthy” 91 according to an air quality monitoring organization.

Thai south chokes on worst Indonesian smoke in years

With several notoriously incense-heavy festivals approaching, Deputy Minister Sathit Pitutecha suggested people use smaller incense as well as extinguish it after the ceremony to minimize pollution. He also said incense trays should be cleaned regularly of their fine, very-inhalable dust.

Starting next week, traditional religious celebrations including Sat Thai and nine-day Taoist Nine Emperor Gods festival – aka the Vegetarian Festival – which are famous for their excessive incense.

The health ministry issued a similar warning earlier this year for Chinese New Year, asking revelers not to burn joss papers and limit incense-burning. The director-general at the time, Panpimol Wipulakorn, cautioned that pollution from the two sources can cause eye irritation, sneezing, breathing difficulties and headaches, while prolonged exposure could even cause cancer.

“The burning of incense releases many kinds of hazardous heavy metals and carcinogens,” she said.

National Geographic reports
"Rising seas is one of those climate change effects. Average sea levels have swelled over 8 inches (about 23 cm) since 1880, with about three of those inches gained in the last 25 years. Every year, the sea rises another .13 inches (3.2 mm)."

NASA Reports
"The most recent special report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change says we can expect the oceans to rise between 10 and 30 inches (26 to 77 centimeters) by 2100 with temperatures warming 1.5 °C. That’s enough to seriously affect many of the cities along the U.S. East Coast. Another analysis based on NASA and European data skewed toward the higher end of that range, predicting a rise of 26 inches (65 centimeters) by the end of this century if the current trajectory continues."

When goverments around the world take serious action, ie compulsury solar panels and heaters on all new buildings and vast replanting of forests world wide, I will believe that they believe there is a major problem that needs fixing, not this carbon tax that only gives money to their troughs.

Interesting?

Five hundred scientists send letter to UN saying “There is no climate crisis”

"A group of 500 scientists and other experts have penned a letter to the UN declaring that there is no climate crisis and that there needs to be an open discussion on the issue of climate change. “We urge you to follow a climate policy based on sound science, realistic economics and genuine concern for those harmed by costly but unnecessary attempts at mitigation,” they write.

Those who contributed to the letter and research were led by CLINTEL (The Climate Intelligence Foundation) co-founder Guus Berkhout. Most of those who signed the letter are scientists, professors, former directors of environmentalist groups, economists, etc.

The letter reads:

A global network of 500 scientists and professionals has prepared this urgent message. Climate science should be less political, while climate policies should be more scientific. Scientists should openly address the uncertainties and exaggerations in their predictions of global warming, while politicians should dispassionately count the real benefits as well as the imagined costs of adaptation to global warming, and the real costs as well as the imagined benefits of mitigation.

The letter was sent on September 23 to address the growing alarmist stance on environmental issues, specifically that which is espoused by Greta Thunberg.

There are six main points of their letter: Natural as well as anthropogenic factors cause warming; warming is far slower than predicted; climate policy relies on inadequate models; CO2 is plant food, the basis of all life on Earth; global warming has not increased natural disasters; and climate policy must respect scientific and economic realities."

Thomas Sowell is an economist He has written books on what subject? Economics.
If I wanted to talk to someone about money and Mathematicians etc I would seek out Thomas Sowell. But if I were wishing to discuss climate change I certainly would grab the Yellow Pages and look under Economcs

This information is from the National Geographic a society with history back to 1888.
"The National Geographic Society (NGS), headquartered in Washington, D.C., United States, is one of the largest non-profit scientific and educational organizations in the world. Founded in 1888, its interests include geography, archaeology, and natural science, the promotion of environmental and historical conservation, and the study of world culture and history."

The climate policies of any elected government needs to be based on proper, qualified, scientific research and analysis. This higher standard of research needs to be adequately funded by the elected governments. Of course the filthy rich private sector could also be asked to fund such research but the likes of Musk, Branson et al are far too busy blowing (other people's) millions on their vanity Mars colony and million dollar weekend spaceman projects.

.

Another climate scientist breaks ranks.

"Our models are Mickey-Mouse Mockeries of the Real World"
- Dr. Mototaka Nakamura

https://electroverse.net/another-climat ... eaks-ranks

Nakamura received a Doctorate of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and for nearly 25 years specialized in abnormal weather and climate change at prestigious institutions that included MIT, Georgia Institute of Technology, NASA, Jet Propulsion Laboratory, California Institute of Technology, JAMSTEC and Duke University.
The good doctor has accused the orthodox scientists of “data falsification” in the form adjusting historical temperature data down to inflate today’s subtle warming trend — something Tony Heller has been proving for years on his website realclimatescience.com.

Nakamura writes: “The global surface mean temperature-change data no longer have any scientific value and are nothing except a propaganda tool to the public.”
Amazing. Nakamura admonishes the alarmism and falsification of data.

^ Perhaps reputable scientists are gaining ground on the pseudo-scientists regarding climate-related news and publications. Under the Trump administration fat grants to the climate propagandists are likely beginning to shrink or dry up. If the Hockey Stick data is ever released and analyzed, I'd be interested in the findings. Wonder if it includes the rationale for ignoring The Little Ice Age? Aren't the tech giants now under pressure to stop suppressing honest climate reports and papers? Real science may yet become popular again.

The National Geographic Society has been taking measurements for 131 years of the sea levels in the world.
All that is needed for scientic equipment is a ruler, pencil and paper. No need for calibration of the equipment

Results are that the levels are increasing and through deduction it is derived that the glaciers a source of water are melting. Ice normally melts due to temperature
Also to facor in is thermal expansion: When water heats up, it expands. About half of the sea-level rise over the past 25 years is attributable to warmer oceans simply occupying more space.
(If all the Ice Caps were to melt the sea levels would increase 216 feet)

More alarmism attributable to failed efforts using faulty data that more and more of the public chooses to ignore.

If it is destined to happen in the view of believers, they now have the grand opportunity to show us how -- in a specific and measurable way -- they plan to slow, stop and reverse this climate phenomenon.

Instead, they cry for the ability to seize our assets to pay for plans that remain vague and lacking the explanations necessary to move the common man to action.

Like socialism's failures, this mmcc hoopla has become cultish. Believe because. The believers are engaging in the same behavior of people who they mock for their spirituality and religious faith. Not surprising, since hypocrisy is common for socialists and believers.

Now, let's all do like the high priests of mmcc -- Harry and Leonardo and Meghan, et al -- and fly around the world to warn and lecture people on their evil ways.

This is most odd. False AGW news are never called to account for bad data or incorrect analysis. Major errors in its statistical methodology is the basis of climate change theory. The problem is that due to the overwhelming volume of submissions, any semblance of the once standard peer review process is long dead. In small clannish fields like “climate science” the rule is now not peer review but pal review. They all know each other, and there is great mutual backscratching taking the place of critical evaluation.

MAJOR CLIMATE PAPER WITHDRAWN BY NATURE

A major scientific paper, which claimed to have found rapid warming in the oceans as a result of manmade global warming, has been withdrawn after an amateur climate scientist found major errors in its statistical methodology.

The paper, from a team led by Laure Resplandy of Princeton University, had received widespread uncritical publicity in the mainstream media when it was published because of its apparently alarming implications for the planet. However, within days of its publication in October 2018, independent scientist Nic Lewis found several serious flaws.

Just been to oz and some clown there wants to charge households for sending solar power back to the grid
His reason was the grid can't handle the amount of solar power in certain areas,

If the clown is a politician, it sounds like he's had a few drinks with the owners of the light company.

Isn't there a cap on how much home-grown electricity Thai consumers with solar-power systems can feed back into the PEA's grid? My understanding is that is to prevent some low-volume consumers with large systems getting a zero baht bill.
