between them he and Warner certainly have a nice bunch of quackers.

Smith scored over 80, which any other player would love, and it causes his average to drop. Class above the rest.

Not that I'm getting worried but they have just taken a Montserrat Caballé record from its cover 8-[

Trip advisor have just issued a warning to all customers to avoid any comments by Aussies as they are known to be totally crap at reviews

Congrats to the Aussie's... best team won.
Smithy head and shoulders above any other batsman in the series.
And without Jimmy Anderson the Aussie bowling attack was better as well.
Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.

Could have been a different story but for the no ball. Smith got lucky a few times but, he was the only class cricketer on show.

Great news from the Palace. At last its Sir Geoffrey!

Well Thursday is the big day of the 5th test and the last chance for the Poms to salvage something.
Both teams , barring injury should go in unchanged. Reward for putting on a great game. Give Leachy a chance to have a crack back.
Couth, if it is a word, was invented by the upper class of the British to show all those subservients in their circle of power to put those underling whose nose did not point up at the correct angle in their place, really doesn’t apply to an Australian cricket team. In fact that word never made it into the convict ships which left dreary England , hence we don’t abide by that adjective.
Aussies to win convincingly test 5.

Take that back Statto.

Come across Sir Geoff on several occasions (most recently in July) and the guy is a legend.

Being a cricket "legend" (of which I dont think anyone would disagree) does not take away from the fact that he is a CONVICTED woman beater thats not "accused" that is CONVICTED =;

When the hell will the England bowlers learn ...... DO NOT get the Aussie openers out ........ you KNOW what comes next

14 - 2 has already become 55 - 2 at lunch and will no doubt be 200 - 2 pretty soon

Not sure what deal Smiffy did with the devil during his "dark hours", but it must have involved the devil arranging for any ball that gets caught being knocked from the fielders hands ...... happened FAR TOO OFTEN to be coincidence

Good effort by the English team and especially Archer with a 6 for, or is that just a p..s poor effort by the Aussies.
Big advantage now and the Poms should be pushing forward to take advantage and get into a position to win the game.

But 3 days to go and anything can happen.
Aussies to win day 5.

Day 4 and an interesting first session coming up today, England must push well past a 400 lead with the last 2 wickets.
Anything around the low 400 mark will allow the aussies to go for broke over the next 2 days and win the game and the series. The ashes are already back in Australia so nothing to lose now.
6 sessions left with 180+ overs and that's enough time for the aussies to take their time with 100 per session run rate easy enough to allow an early supper tomorrow afternoon with a ploughmans lunch and a celebratory pint of room temperature lager.
Crystal ball says warner to smash his first hundred in quick time today.
