Udon Map welcomes Pai Restaurant to our family.
Pai serves traditional German food with a modern slant, in Mill Place. You will find creative interpretations of some traditional foods, all made fresh to order, and served in a calm and visually pleasing place.
In the "hygge" -style restaurant, in a cozy, modern ambience, we serve German specialties with Thai influences, reinterpreted. At our ateliertable
in the front of the open kitchen, we offer up to 10 people an exclusive insight into the creativity and passion of our chefs.
“It has always been my goal to keep my familie in mind.” – Martin Karl Müller
Mr. Müller is the chef and creative driving force of Pai Restaurant. He started the restaurant with the idea of honoring his late mother, who was Thai. His concept is fine German dining in his mother's hometown, Udon Thani. He cooks German dishes with Thai influences, inspired by the memory of his mother.
Pai Restaurant is located at Mill Place on Posri Road in Udon Thani.

Re: Restaurant Atelier PAI
i already ate several times at the restaurant pai.
food and service was always good.
so far so good.
but last time i discovered "10% service charge" added on the bill.
hmmm - i'd rather decide by myself if i leave a tip or not....

The pictures look really good. Had not noticed if before. Will give it a try. Not a fan of service charge either though!
Re: Restaurant Atelier PAI
My first thought, when glancing through the photos, was that this was one of those restaurants that placed style over substance. However, a second scrutiny discovered what appears to be an excellent salad and a simple fruit plate, both of which would suit my particular desire and need for non-fat, low-cal meals. Its website reinforces this good opinion. This is a restaurant worth giving a look and a try. Best wishes for its success.

Re: Restaurant Atelier PAI
I always thought a service charge was just a way to pad the bill .
I cant see the staff getting it as tips .
Looks very nice though . Poncy but nice . Maybe for a special occasion , but i think it will be a hit with the Hiso Thais trendy kids , who just love to be seen on farcebook in the best places .
