Re: Democrats, Republicans and Elections

.

As usual, the media cannot be depended upon to provide details. They are currently melting down over McConnell blocking two partisan Democrat bills to "secure" elections. These are the same Democrats who summarily REJECT VOTER ID as being racist.

One of the most secure components of the presidential election is that each state handles their own process for voting. It is not the role of the federal government to interfere in that. A centralized voting process -- taken away from the states -- would make the process easier to corrupt. It's difficult to steal an election with 50 different counters.

The two bills were rejected because they placed federal control over the process by requiring the use of paper ballots. Congress has already addressed election security concerns with legislation, and it already part of the law to report any offers of assistance from foreign countries. The two bills were nothing more than political grandstanding.

Details matter.

Re: Trump and the Stock Markets

.

Very early last week, one of the huge market drivers in the economy showed improvement. US manufacturing surpassed the predictions by economists. That seems to happen a lot lately.

Demand for durable goods, which usually have a 3-year life cycle, rose 2% just in the month of June over the previous month. Aircraft orders also increased. Orders for cars and parts were up over 3%, which was also more than expected.

June marks the second consecutive month of rising orders, which confirms a rise in US factory activity as reported by the Fed.

These numbers, along with consumer spending and consumer confidence, has much to do with the US surpassing GDP estimates for the second quarter and reaching GDP 2.1%. While the rest of the world is struggling, the US economy continues to chug along.

Re: Will Trump make the Grade.

So if we asume . . .

. . . So what is the whoopla all about?
. . .
Its all opinion and nonsense in between and after just to fill up space with more absurd and incoherent thoughts. Are you intoxicated, or 12 years old?

Read about the program and educate yourself.
https://www.whitehouse.gov/pledge-to-americas-workers/

For 8 years, I asked Bayrack supporters to provide JUST ONE program or policy of Obama's that benefited ALL Americans without penalizing another American -OR- was supported by the majority of WORKING Americans. I'm still waiting. There were NONE. All of Obama's big ideas punished some group of Americans, and that included ObamaCare.

Trump has provided many, and "The Pledge to America's Workers" is just one. It resulted from a Trump Executive Order to improve training and wages for all jobs across all industries. The original goal was to get training for 500,000 jobs. A year later, private companies have pledged training for over 12 million jobs. The total is updated daily. It's on the web site. Go look.

As per your usual nonsense, you never refute the information by providing facts to back up your pearl-clutching interventions. Instead, you mock the effort. Your emotional investment in my posts is on display once again, and the following is proof.

Earlier yesterday, you posted this while criticizing worldwide military spending:
Think what could be done with such monies available Cancer, Poverty, Education, roads, bridges etc
But we chose to develop ways to eliminate each other for the better of ones country, go figure
And yet, you MOCK the effort of Trump and the US, in less than 24 hours of your whining about government spending on military, to improve well being. Go figure!

You ignored your own phony concern for military spending to succumb to your emotional investment and obsession with my posts. Go figure? I think it's easy for anyone who witnesses your posting absurdity to FIGURE that you are up to your eyeballs in hypocrisy, tripe and emotional foolishness.

Trump's program has exceeded its goal by over 1,000% in its very first year. It benefits ALL Americans without penalizing another American to accomplish it. This program and other policies and programs improves the well being of millions of Americans -- despite our tremendous spending to have the greatest fighting force anywhere in the world.

From where do you hail? What is your country doing to improve any well being anywhere? Where the hell are you from to be so envious of great countries with large military forces? Don't wanna say? Go figure.

I know what my country's doing: 300 companies pledging training for over 12 million jobs -- and counting. And that's just a small part of America's contribution to its own citizens and to foreigners around the world -- directly and indirectly.

America's success and achievement stokes your juvenile envy in the form of mocking disdain. You don't even have the intellectual capacity or practical knowledge and common sense to realize that prosperity and progress anywhere in the world has a chance of benefiting even jealous little clodpolls like you.

But we all know -- because you tell us every time you've crushed yourself with your own bewildering claims -- you don't care.

Where is the improvement to well being . So are you saying prior to the Blonde one pull the rug over the eyes of Americans there was no committment from the compnaies involved? Did they just hire new employees and say " Ok off you go and see what you can do?" There is no improvement to well being

"300 companies pledging training for over 12 million jobs -- and counting. And that's just a small part of America's contribution to its own citizens and to foreigners around the world -- directly and indirectly.
They had done nothing new but dress it up and have a presentation.

Anyway I wont go on OH and as for my country it is doing fine no need to worry about us.
in conclusion
Ho-hum signals indifference or boredom

"The wishcasters and Cheerleaders for Failure continue to predict tariff destruction for the US economy, but it never comes."
The UK has had the same halfwit predictions since the Leave Referendum. We have not become a wee token state. The UK still has one of the most vibrant economies in Europe. We pay our way as members of NATO, we contribute more overseas development money than almost any other Country. What is bad about getting out of a German/Franco dictatorship. Answers on a postage stamp please.

For Those Who May Have Forgotten

Post by jackspratt » July 28, 2019, 9:22 pm

Remember when the US had an intelligent, articulate and inclusive leader:

To me, a country is defined by its artists, and Springsteen represents the best of the US.

And what does he think about the Bloated Orange Bullshiiter - this was very prescient, from nearly 3 years ago:

Why are you concerned about the evangelist's reaction? Other than Springfield's political views, he would seem to represent everything about the US that LS promotes here - even down to the pronounced triceps.

With 135 million record sales worldwide (including 64 million in the US), "glorified pub singer" no doubt is a pretty snobbish or elitist reaction to Springfield's success. :-k
