Re: Democrats, Republicans and Elections

A Washington Post columnist writes:

"The agonizing fact for Democrats this summer is that President Trump appears to be gaining ground on domestic and foreign policy, while his potential challengers are quarreling and mostly spinning their wheels.

Trump is taunting allies and defying Congress — and seemingly getting away with it. He isn’t just rewriting the political rulebook, he’s tossing it aside. And the painful fact is that the Democrats haven’t figured out a way to stop his forward momentum, even when they believe it’s taking the country over a cliff."

4 more years of Trump might take the planet over a cliff.

Kamasutra's father lowers the boom on her once again. First time was when he criticized her for contributing to the stereotype of associating Jamaicans with marijuana. This time it's about slavery.

Turns out Kamasutra's Jamaican great grandfather "owned scores of slaves. The majority were brought in from Africa, though he also owned many Creole slaves."

Kamasutra's father, Stanford professor Donald Harris, wrote this and more in a published genealogy report.

That race card gets more and more difficult to play for Kamasutra, who is NOT Black American. She is of Jamaican and Indian descent.

As most people born in the western world know, Der Fuhrer refers to Hitler. Perhaps, you are the sole exception.
Well I didn't mention Hitler, I'm sure there are people who would equate trump with hitler. From what I understand hitler was a nut job too. tell the truth it's about being derogatory about politicians . yep that one hurts. perhaps politicians should avoid personal insults , case they get some of their own medication
Well, you did mention Der Fuhrer which is the same thing. It is the same as saying El Duce...it is Mussolini. Or saying the Chairman/the Great Helmsman, that is Mao, or Brother Number One - Saloth Sar/Pol Pot.
Der fuhrer is German for "the leader" , please explain how you say "the leader" in german. most people under 30 have no clue who hitler was. so it's ok to use racial slurs and personal innuendo's , then trumpf should expect the same crap back... 6 more years ,10,14 as he said , that's how tinpot dictators start ..national emergency, national security ,executive powers. How about "lock her up" ,can't beat a bit of good old incarceration of political opponents

Stop the bilge. You are old enough and wise enough to know that Der Fuhrer refers to Hitler, perhaps the most odious man with power to walk this Earth. Do you think Trump has a master plan to eliminate Jews, gypsies, homosexuals and others? If not, stop with the lame excuses for your silly and ridiculous comparison. Move on. Jeez.

The cost of the Bloated Orange Bullshiiter's golf trips since coming into office have been estimated at about 5 times the paltry savings he may/may not have made in Whitehouse staffing (most of which would have come about because nobody wants to stay long enough to go on permanent staff). :-"
From a combination of an analysis from the HuffPost, the GAO or General Accounting Office, Politico and the Washington Post using costs from both Obama and Trump golf trips the estimated cost of Trump’s visits so far come to a range of $105 to $108 million.

Looks like another seat could be picked up by Republicans in the US Senate in the State of Michigan. Trump has already endorsed him.

John James, a combat vet and businessman raised more that $1.5 million in less than a month and is widening his fund-raising lead over the Democrat candidate in the predominantly Democrat state. The average donation is $126. He has raised more funds than any senate candidate in Michigan's history, and has pledged to donate 5% of his campaign funds to charity.

Uh oh. The cat's out of the bag now.

The current chief of staff of Oc-Co Loco, Saikat Chakrabarti, admitted that the Green New Deal is about changing the economy.

Washington Post:
Chakrabarti had an unexpected disclosure. “The interesting thing about the Green New Deal,” he said, “is it wasn’t originally a climate thing at all.” Ricketts greeted this startling notion with an attentive poker face. “Do you guys think of it as a climate thing?” Chakrabarti continued. “Because we really think of it as a how-do-you-change-the-entire-economy thing.”
Omar & Company, of which Oc-Co Loco is a member, are the gifts that keep on giving to Republicans.

Well, sure, easy enough to ridicule the graphics from LS; but the real question, at least for me, is whether or not it's accurate.

Washington Post:
The polls say Trump is beatable, but it will take a strong, sensible campaign that can pull voters in the middle, where this race will be won or lost.
Which one is sensible?

Leftists can't pull Americans in the middle TO the middle without lying to them.

There is no "middle" candidate running for president among Democrats. Middle would be an American who defends the Constitution, promotes Free Enterprise and nurtures Individual Liberty. None of them defend ALL of the Constitution and believe in enforcing our laws. ALL of them reject the free market and want to regulate it and manipulate it. ALL of them expect Americans to throw off their Individual Liberty and sacrifice for the collective -- forced charity putting the individual last, which harms their personal plans and their families.

The Democrat candidates are left of center OR far left of center. They can't pull the middle if they're all left of the middle.

Which one of these ideas is "middle"? I would bet lots of money that each one of them causes a block of voters to run for the hills and vote Trump.

- Open borders
- abortion up to birth
- 700% increase in refugees (Warren's recent declaration)
- eliminate private health insurance
- illegal aliens and 16 year olds voting
- felons voting in prison
- sanctuary cities and states
- gun confiscation
- rescind the tax cuts for everyone (Bernie and others)
- Medicare for all, which makes it Medicare for none
- abolish ICE and Homeland Security
- GET TRUMP
- Wealth tax
- Green New Deal (now revealed as an economic transformation)
- Increasing the national debt
- No ideas for more and better jobs
- Restarting ObamaCare (Sleepy Joe)
- Etc.

None of the ideas are "middle", and none of the candidates are middle. Big problems.

They have to continue to hope that the economy slows and goes south to have any chance. The irony of that is a poor economy will NEVER support any of their big money ideas. Notice that NONE of them have any ideas to make the job market bigger and better. It's all about the government taking tax revenue and giving it away.

Redistribution of wealth -- it's all the party has ever done. They like to play Santa Clause to ghettos and trailer park rubes who are told the largess comes straight from the donkey's heart. It come from working taxpayers.

.

Another problem for Democrats in the House.

There are 31 Democrat members of Congress who just won their seats in 2018, but they are from districts that Trump won in 2016. Brand new. Haven't been in office for a year. THEY are the reason why the Democrats have a majority in the House.

If these 31 side with Pelosi, then Oc-Co Loco and other radical Dems will find socialist candidates to run against them in primaries to unseat them. If these 31 side with Oc-Co Loco and the socialists, voters in their districts will oust them in 2020.

My money is on Republicans retaking the House (and adding a seat here or there in the Senate) because Democrats have nothing to show for their House majority except GET TRUMP.

Are you talking about president Trump? If so, you seem to forget about Obama and his wife's vacations along with her entourage. How much do you suppose Obama's wife's staff cost over eight long years. Perhaps you are not talking about Trump. Most of us have graduated from grade school and some may not recognize your grade school name calling.

You're going to need better ammunition than what you have been able come up with. Keep trying and further reveal your illogical bitter hatred.
