"The deregulation also cuts prices for:
- prescription drugs"

Meanwhile is the USA people are dieing due to the cost of Perscription drugs amd are only taking part of the drugs (Insulin in this case) needed
"Her daughter, who is 13, has Type 1 diabetes and needs insulin. In the United States, it can cost hundreds of dollars per vial. In Canada, you can buy it without a prescription for a tenth of that price.

So, Greenseid led a small caravan last month to the town of Fort Frances, Ontario, where she and five other Americans paid about $1,200 for drugs that would have cost them $12,000 in the United States."

"More than 30 million Americans have diabetes, according to the American Diabetes Association. About 7.5 million, including 1.5 million with Type 1 diabetes, rely on insulin."

Thailands exports Down
"Exports were singled out as the key negative factor driving down growth in gross domestic product (GDP). The research group on Thursday predicted that the value of shipments will by grow by only 0.8 per cent, largely due to the effects of the trade war between the US and China and the appreciation of the baht since the beginning of the year."

The Golden Wonder continues to make freinds, I dont think so. Driving people out of work where the GDP per person is only $7605USD His antics continue to reflect his selfishness
" Intensely selfish people are always very decided as to what they wish. They do not waste their energies in considering the good of others.”

What a load of Horse Dung. The marriage has come to an end

"Three days after President Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un shared a warm and fuzzy moment on North Korean soil, the despotic regime accused the U.S. of being "hell-bent on hostile acts" against the secluded nation." BooHoo

"Yeah. It took exactly 20 minutes for the clown car with the usual members of CBoS to roll in. You can just about set your watch to the first appearance. Their GET TRUMP emotion overwhelms them. So eager to pounce, but it is that eagerness that contributes to their missteps.

A few of them suffer from Dunning-Kruger syndrome. The same knowledge and intelligence that they lack in their weak and clownish responses is the same level of knowledge and intelligence necessary for them to identify their weakness of not responding well or coherently. As a result, they will always repeat the weak clownishness and remain oblivious to their shortcomings.

In other words, they overestimate their skills and abilities and don't have the skill and ability to realize it. Quite sad."

LS you can't see the forest for the trees. The only time it seems you open your month is to change your feet.

"It's just an honor to be with you and it was an honor that you asked me to step over that line," Trump told the North Korean leader. "And I was proud to step over that line."

Trump added that it was "a great day for the world." Here, hold still why I pull the knife out of your back

That's ridiculous. The US isn't in a good space when partisanship goes this far.

I don't like Creepy Joe. Too many geriatrics hold very important political positions in the US. Biden or Sanders would just make that worse. I hope a younger candidate comes through.

.

Biden Doesn't Remember When He Was VP

In an interview with CNN, Biden remarks that Russian interference in US and European elections would have never occurred "on My Watch and Barack’s Watch."

Uh, Uncle Joe, that's exactly when it occurred.

I would imagine by now that Biden's handlers are looking to jump to another campaign very soon.

Re: Trump addresses EU trade deficit

China now says all tariffs have to be stripped away if there is to be a trade deal.

That's probably a non starter and a signal to Trump to keep making deals with other countries to fill the void -- which has been one of the main reasons why the tariffs have not harmed the US economy. Inflation is below 1.3% and wages are up 3.2% in the US, which is a clear signal that things are fine more than a year after tariffs went into effect.

Not having any trading relationship other than one loaded with tariffs vs China is certainly an option and easily survivable with new supply chains.

July 5 (UPI) — President Donald Trump on Friday said his administration intends to announce a plan to decrease prescription drug costs based on the lowest price other countries pay.
He called it a “favored-nations clause.”

Good luck to President Trump on this. I've read some negative comments on likely problems implementing such a policy. One comment was that if state drug price controls were enacted, drug producers are likely to cease marketing certain drugs.

The hope is that his administration will find and apply a workable policy that will reduce some costs and abate the rapid rise in drug prices.

Sounds very much like socialism to me.

Isn't this the sort of thing that free enterprise and the markets should be determining? :-k

SO, you have a problem with someone trying to find out why US drugs are the most expensive in the world? The drug industry is obviously out of control.

Even those of us with Dunning-Kruger know the answer to that - what took the Bloated Orange Socialist so long?

The drug industry is obviously out of control.
Obviously - but isn't that how free enterprise and capitalism are supposed to work?
