747man has the amazing ability to just pick certain stats out ????i thought he would of used his time sitting on the ''naughty boy step'' to come up with something a bit more interesting and not leave himself so wide open, but no,back to shooting himself in the foot ''THE GIFT THAT KEEPS GIVING''
Like WEED them out. :badteeth:

I think the 117 figure is impressive and well worth sharing. High fives to Everton. 8)
Almost as impressive as the fact that Everton have FAILED to win the title 109 times. and thats more times than anyone else has been in the league

If Everton were beer they would probably be Carlsberg .. poor as p*ss or 117 years :-$
Failing to win the title 109 times is impressive and certainly well worth sharing !
Not sure about Carlsberg,though.....maybe Archa more appropriate nowadays ! :-$
Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.

Good news (I assume) for Vince

From Sky

"HAMMERS TRIO TO LEAVE

Andy Carroll, Samir Nasri and Adrian will all leave West Ham when their contracts expire at the end of June."

I'm a footballer get me outta here ..........

"Paul Pogba's move to Real Madrid is 'practically done' as the Manchester United star agrees to a massive pay cut."

"Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku is reportedly willing to take a pay-cut in order to secure a move to Inter Milan."
Proof, if ever proof was needed, that ManU has more than its fair share of overpaid underachievers?

With the 19 year-old De Ligt holding out for more cash to move to Old Trafford along with guarantees of more first team starts and less bench time... this all based less on a pretty decent workhorse year in the rather unexciting Eredivisie but more on maybe 2 or 3 eye-catching and exciting outings in the EC competition?

"De Ligt ‘wants more money’ and ‘requires guarantees to be a starter’ when deciding on his next club."

https://www.football365.com/news/two-tr ... -ligt-race

Sounds like he'll fit right in... before being punted off to Juventus or Inter Milan when the next manager starts his post-OGS makeover. Looks like his (agents) demands may have already fallen on deaf ears at Barça.

I think teams such as 117 Everton are the historical backbone of English football. And so are the supporters of these teams such as our immensely popular 747man. I appreciate the English love of taking the piss holds you fellas back from acknowledging this.

Before getting a bit excited, please note I used the plural "teams".

I,d never make smart arse comments about a sport I know nothing about, such as American baseball.
I think 99% of people would be the same but we are not dealing with "normal" here.

I'm not laughing at Alan. He's good value. You boys ought to cool it a bit.

I didn't see that as smart arse Zids. I saw it as a valuable contribution. It's this thread that isn't normal. The outside world is somewhat different.

During Feb Be In had an offer of 3 months subs for B333 which I took advantage of (B25 a week for all Prem matches plus loads of other leagues seemed worth the risk). On the very last day of the season something went wrong and the service failed with about 2 mins of the matches to go, which if I'm honest didn't worry me too much (Newcastle were 4 - 0 up at Fulham and playing keep ball by then). Just received an e mail apologising for the failure and giving me an access code to obtain a month subscription free between now and this time next year. Makes a change for a company to offer something for nothing instead of trying to blame someone else and pocket the profits =D> =D> =D>

"HAMMERS SIGN ROBERTO

West Ham have signed Spanish goalkeeper Roberto on a two-year deal.

The experienced 33-year-old will join on July 1 after his contract with La Liga club Espanyol expires."
