DM,you do realise that Paul Hurst was manager of Grimsby 2011-16 ?
Scunny should never have got rid of Graham Alexander....OK,they were having a bit of a dodgy spell but were still just outside the play offs.
They would still be in League 1 if they had kept the faith with him.
Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.

Oh YES fully aware Mr Hurst was the former Codhead manager .. just adds spice to what will be the best 2 fixtures of next season. the imminent appointment seems to be being well received by the scunny faithful HOWEVER .. Graham Alexander should never have been sacked .. crazy decision followed by a caretaker forgot his mane Parks i think .. then Stuart Mcall then another caretaker in Dawson ..no suprise we got relegated n i predicted it before a ball was kicked last season .

Be interesting to see the players rentention list n if Josh Morris is on it

Tranmere Rovers missed a good chance to take a decisive lead into the second leg at FOREST GREEN on Monday Night. On Friday Evening they managed a 1-0 win at Prenton Park. after playing 75 mins. against 10 men,F.G.'s Gunning red carded after 15 minutes. Olly Banks' winning goal was a screamer, well worth a second look if you get a chance. Still going to be a tough task for Wirral's Rovers to progress.

A finely balanced game instore on Tuesday night at the Hawthorns. Could go either way.
On Wednesday at Elland Road it's advantage Leeds.

If Red Bull made Leipzig the most hated team in the Bundesliga, who would Red Bull Salford topple from the current pinnacle of English footie bile and vitriol?

Apart from the obvious EPL contenders, are there any lower-league teams that have garnered a bad or less than wholesome rep?

Scunny?

Blackpool?

Plymouth Argyle?

Micky Mellon's side, who went up through the National League play-offs last term, will face Newport County at Wembley on Saturday, 25 May for a place in the third tier. So Tranmere will play County to see who goes up to League 1.

Oooohh, do tell.

Since the season is all over (except for perhaps LUFC), to keep this thread alive and to stop me getting annoyed while googling on a truly crap internet connection, what have MK Dons and Crawley done to be so reviled?

MK Dons for trying to murder Wimbledon and having the cheek to use their nickname [-X

Crawley coz their a theiving cheating load of Bar stewards ..... only stayed in business by paying half what was owed (inc massive tax bill) then Chairman jailed for tax fraud, players only paid a small amount of wages then they signed a completely new squad breaking their own and the leagues transfer record on more than one occasion

Not sure how much lower he can go ...

"COLEMAN SACKED

Chris Coleman has been sacked by Chinese Super League club Hebei China Fortune.

The former Wales manager was appointed last June but leaves Hebei in the relegation zone with one win from nine matches."

There' s always Celtic I suppose :-k

Well, that's that for this season. In the end all the injuries caught up with us, and we were just not good enough.
Next season we try again.

Gloat.
The usual Implosion.
End of season collapse.
4 games remaining, in the driving seat, and they blow it. AGAIN.
Sorry, just can't help gloating, along with Fat Frank and hundreds of thousands of other football fans who don't like LUFC.
All season long the news agencies obsessed with Marcelo Bielsa and his miraculous ways of coaching.
Well Fat Frank beat him in his first season of management.
And under the radar Farke, IMHO, the best coach in the EFL, and Chris Wilder, manager of the year award, both get the automatic promotion spots.
I see LUFC losing their coach who looks at the floor whilst answering reporter's questions via a translator, the owner (which one?) selling the club, and another few years of Championship football for LUFC, a real proper club.
55555
Could'nt happen to a nastier club.

Agree with you Adhoc. Injuries and not good enough players. I did think we outplayed Derby for 90% of the 2 legs which makes it a bitter pill but, hey, we are Leeds and proud.

Not gonna rise to the NCFC" banter" because, if he was a real fan, he would understand that now is not the time to gloat.

Ah, I see, so it's perfectly OK to have the "fans chant of the season" all over social media when Leeds WIN the first leg, but REAL fans shouldn't take the p*ss when the boots on the other foot

Mouthing Off Together :-$
