Before I went to bed last night, 11ish, the sky was crystal clear, lots of stars and the moon.......but awoke at 3 with cracks of thunder overhead and bolts of lightning.......and the sky opened up. I don't think the rain lasted long......but 3+ inches fell

The weather forecast shows a slim chance of rain today.....better chance in about a week. But the ants are predicting another thing. Swarms of ants, carrying eggs......usually a pretty good sign of rain. Udon's main reservoir needs it......only 26% of capacity with a week of water throwing and partying to boot.

My weather app showing no rain till next Monday and the temp hitting above 40 till then.
The local water supply dam here in Ban Wang has been reduced to a trickle feed for most of the day. Was told so they can save water with the water wasting holiday coming. Barely able to lift the 2 meters height to fill the tanks. Hope the rain comes earlier.
