Having done the online process only once, I was impressed with the way it worked. You submit and receive a tracking number as soon as you submit. Then, a few days later, if you haven't heard via email, you can check the status online. It so happened that when I checked on day 5 (March 11), I noticed the 90 day had been approved....but hadn't received the email notifying me. Then a few hours later, the email arrived.

It is variable, my first report took about 3~4 days the second took about 1~2 hours

I am trying to do this but after filling in the form and pressing submit all I get is a notice for more info to contact my local office which if I press takes me back to my form and if I don't press just loads for ever but goes nowhere .
What am I doing wrong?

The information you have filled in does not match the information held in the immigration database. That is the indication that there is not a perfect match.

You will never be told what is wrong, for security reasons this is the correct way, you either have a perfect match or are rejected. It is not as secure as it should be as you are permitted multiple (maybe indefinite) numbers of tries.

Do not fill in anything that is not mandatory, use the drop down menu for nationality,

I have to fill in one field with incorrect (old) information and have to leave out some information in another.
