Car sales 2019 a prime indicator regarding the economy

Said Jeremy Acevedo, Edmunds’ manager of industry analysis, “Although the drop-off in sales is rather subtle year over year, February is shaping up to be a good barometer of the gradual sales decline we expect through 2019.” He added, “We’re really starting to see a slump in retail demand that stems from the growing cost of new car purchases.”

What is behind the slip then? “Record-high interest rates and rising average transaction prices are what’s really putting pressure on the market and keeping car shoppers at bay so far in 2019,” said Acevedo. Going forward, these are the factors that will make the greatest difference."

If that is all New York State can do is whine about her then they deserve not having the new HQ for Amazon.
People/Leaders look for winners not whinners when wanting to get something done. If New York really wants the HQ then do something positive about it

Not exactly where I would expect a Republican to appear in a chart of all Democrats in a Democrat state.

I would have expected Trump's favorability on that chart to be dead last. The fact that the nine others are all Dems and Trump ranks #6 in favorability in a chart of 10 Dems is pretty impressive. Even more impressive is that he passes the NYC Mayor, the popular and bubbly Oc-Co Loco and way ahead of two others.

I'll take that any day of the week in NY.

SCOTUS Overrules 9th Circuit in Favor of Trump

Supreme Court rules that federal officials may detain and deport illegal aliens after they have served their time in the US for other crimes. It will no longer matter whether they were picked up immediately or later, after criminal release.

The Supreme Court overturns the 9th Circuit more than any of the other federal appeals courts.

This bodes well for future cases involving illegal immigration.

STEADY WINNING.

Trump Immigration Policy Raising Wages

Source: NY Times

Optimism.

The crackdown on illegal aliens has created a labor demand and increased wages -- even for farm hands.
Without a legal alternative to informal migrant labor, the competition between dairy farms to retain migrant workers is so fierce that farm owners, once notorious for underpaying and mistreating workers, are now improving working conditions and wages to entice employees to stay on their farms, workers said.

Victor Cortez is an immigrant who has worked on a dairy farm in western New York for 18 years. A few years ago, farm owners “wouldn’t let us leave the farm,” he said, adding, “They wouldn’t pay us as much as they promised they would.”

“But the good thing about it now,” he said, “is that we get paid more and this farmer is good to me.”
The US labor market has been flooded with illegals for decades, which has lowered wages for Americans and contributed to a stagnant economy. Trump's policy is having a great impact nationwide in all sectors of blue collar and middle class jobs.

AMERICA FIRST. HIRE AMERICAN.

STILL STEADY DAMN WINNING.

Some are calling him the White Obama. Yep. No achievements.

Some are calling him Kennedy-esque. Well, he drives like Teddy.

Pelosi couldn't name one thing he did while in the House.

U.S. Sees China Trade Pushback as Trump Touts Progress

Source: Bloomberg

Except Bloomberg's pessimistic sources have no names.
Some U.S. negotiators are concerned that China is pushing back against American demands in trade talks, according to people familiar with the negotiations, even as President Donald Trump sounded optimistic about reaching a deal that could boost his reelection chances.

AMERICA FIRST. HIRE AMERICAN.

The only way for wages to be supressed is if the EMPLOYERS are hiring Illegals on a consistatn basis. How could this be in a FREE S0CIETY in a society that Makes America GREAT AGAIN

If they stop hiring Illegals along with Tariffs, increasing wages. prices for the American Consumer will surely increase .
Mathematics all this will increase inflation making the consumer one unhappy hombres

Get ready for the slide

He is still at it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don said

“George Conway, often referred to as Mr. Kellyanne Conway by those who know him, is VERY jealous of his wife’s success & angry that I, with her help, didn’t give him the job he so desperately wanted,” Trump tweeted. “I barely know him but just take a look, a stone cold LOSER & husband from hell!”
George Conway responded in a three-word tweet: “You. Are. Nuts"

Now this is the MOST POWERFULL COUNTRY on earth and this is how they act with one person having his hand over the BIG BUTTON!!!!!!!

I don't feel safe at all

Alarmist for sure

Trump seems very rattled these days. He needs to chill out a bit more.

Perhaps he should take up bowling or something.
